    Sabre Bass

I've got a Sabre with a jazz profile. It's a wonderful neck - but I find 42mm necks a bit fat for my little hands, so it suits me fine.
  2. Show me some happiness that isn't - Goth Ed.
  3. Given what a stickler for accuracy Robert Fripp is, he seems to be bearing it with a smile
  4. So ? Fingers or pick, it's still a toughie. Good work.
  5. The Mayor of Simpleton by XTC - eluded me for ages, just so darn busy...all those 'pealing bells' runs ! I got it.....very eventually.
  6. Agreed- I've played a few in covers bands and they're more challenging than they first appear.
  7. I have a late 90s model and it sounds.. ...well, like what a bass should sound like !

  13. I know this song I had to use it all the time, was quite good with it, but it always felt like it was a badly-designed tool. Hope you get on with the set list software - if it works for you, then job done.
  14. For idiots, yes...sadly Musicians ∩ Idiots ≠ ∅
  15. It's usually peak time only - they want to avoid buying energy when it's most in demand, so they reward customers who don't, for example, join the tea-time power spike.
  16. This kind of scheme usually asks that you don't run anything high power things like tumble-dryers, heaters or experimental fusion reactors.
  17. See, this is the attitude we like to see ! Head to toe...pure player
  18. Wow. If I did that for a month that'd be the best paying gig I never played !
  19. "What's the best way to troll a bass forum ?" "Here, pass me that Wal and fire up Photoshop"
  20. I had the pleasure of playing through a Marshall VBA stack a few times at a rehearsal studio. Amazing amps. I simply didn't know my bass could sound that flippin' good.
  21. I didn't last long - it soon became apparent that my giant overbite and the mouthpiece of the horn weren't a match made in heaven
