  8. iirc from 'head on' he stopped playing bass live so he could concentrate on singing, which he found easier without the bass. he did play guitar on stage occasionally.

  18. how close are the pickups to the strings ? if they're too close, the magnetic field can affect the vibration of the strings and give it a chorused/phased sound. just a thought

  24. the light you can see is the protection bulb attached to the tweeter in the cab. it lights up to prevent too high a current reaching the tweeter (as the current increases, the bulb heats up and so its resistance increases) relax - it's meant to do that
