bought his broke bass xciter, not had much luck fixin it yet, but it was a sound transaction

what you suggeted would suit me fine, if need be id bypass it with a spare looper i have, let me know how to do it

have done and have tried the end pins on both sides of the switch appear to be soldered on both sides identically whilst the middle pins are only soldered on the back, with no trace on the other side, so im pretty damn sure that the end pins have been soldered on both sides for the extra security, no amount of sucking will suck that solder through hopefully aphex will get in touch, you would have think this would be sorted by now with so many complaints about the switch!

iv emailed aphex anyways, see how much a repair would set me back, i would quite like it to work

okay so i thought id give it a go at fixing one that i bought broke off the forum last week, but i think i dont have the skills! led lights, no signal, signal is fine through bypass, could this be the famous switch f*** up that these pedals suffer?? if so how would i go about replacing it? the switch appears to be soldered on to the board on both sides, and i cant see a way possible of me gettin it off

1.5mm definetly does NOT work with a stingray, frustrated the life out of me when i got mine, but ye works with a SUB 1/16th is bang on

well what you after? alot of people like the moogs, but they need to be in a loop as they suck tone badly when bypassed

from sound samples iv heard, i prefer the akai, i came close to buying one of this forum off some guy, but i decided against it. im waiting for the chunk systems synth personally...

i quite liked mine, the arpegiattor mode was pretty fun, and delay was good. but for accurate pitch shifting it sucked for bass

crowther prunes and custard will get you the hysteria sound close enough. Big muffs will not.

looks nice mate, just think you need a nice big bright orange or blue pedal in the middle to brighten it up a bit!
