1.
That's in the thread too.
Right..but this is this thread I am saying a might dislike a shop bass because i have been forced to play it through an Ashdown, very much relevant to this thread, not the other.
2.
It could look good with both pup and bridge covers.....
+1, dont think it looks right alone, but would look cool with both, but fooked by the badass
3.
I refer you to the Ashdown. Crap? thread where this issue has already been dealt with at length.
Why did you refer me to that thread? I am not saying they break, i am just saying i dislike Ashdown amps
4. really wish i could bloody drive
5. so many times iv wanted to try basses in shops, and the little bass guy comes over and plugs me into an ashdown..... Thing is, im too nice to tell him i might as well play through a shoe
6. Sure you girls are playing the right instrument?
7. id value it at around £80, based on sales iv seen, but of course its worth as much as someone is willing to pay
8. What kind of muff is it? An older one, i assume?
9.
See if Ou7shined will swap it for the unpainted VT1 he was also selling - that has an input pad control that should let you use the T-40 with it no probs!
thought exactly the same thing when i read it
10.
55-110
how it should be
11. damn, been waiting for one of these to come up at a good price, and you live down the road, grrrr i miss having a student loan
12. priced them well, pretty much the same as the SUB range, iirc. Love to try one and compare to the real thing...
13. il be surprised if the trace comp will still be here come this evening, i would very much buy it if i had any spare money, best comp iv ever owned, and a sterling price
14. Celinder basses are the only boutique fender type basses i am drawn too, that looks gorgeous
15. just received a Hellbaby from Steve, very well packed and seems great. Cheers
16. Sorry, but if your looking to buy something, you need to check the sales forum regularly. Correct me if im wrong, but the wanted forum is more for making owners think about selling their stuff, rather than a place to look once they have decided to sell, unless of course they are struggling to get a sale.
17.
Get a second hand SUB! There was one on here for £350 and i sold my housemate's for £380 with an ABS hard case Proper USA made 'Ray for peanuts
+100000
18. whats with george l's at the moment? Everybody wants 'em! Had people beating down my, erm, inbox when i sold mine last month.
19. disgusting, id rather have a supercar.
20. bump. Im suprised no-one has took this yet, its worth £55 for the compressor, headphone amp and tuner alone
21. thats gorgeous, the neck wood seems really nice too.
22. wow thats one ugly bass, i thought you liked stingrays??! Echoing what people have said, itd would look stupid in anything but a metal band, but recording wise (or if you don't care what it looks like on stage), its not by any means restricted to metal
23. why would anyone buy this? Even if it was that powerful, the only people who would need it would play in large venues, and chances are then they can afford to buy better quality equipment...
24. yup, get a whammy, easy as pie
25. you made a typo, 'i' rather than 'it'
