  1. Twenty small cigars - Zappa
  2. I had one of these as my first 5-er way back when... fond memories!
  3. So long Marianne - St Leonard of Cohen
  4. A PCB for a Lovetone Meatball clone - amazing pedal!
  5. A wise move.
  6. It's a Silly Point to make though. Is it Japanese or Maiden England? etc... etc..
  7. Any downers? - Zappa
  8. Stand Up - Diamond Dave
  9. not just trimming the strings either - that's small potatoes compared to the unfinished wood he's left at the bottom and lack of rear strap peg.
  10. Silver and Gold - U2, but mostly me, me, me.
  11. Bongo to Wrongo in two swift cuts. people? You can keep ‘em.
  12. Nice. great demonstration of how to use a P&C properly. Mine is just used for filth.
  13. you know, it's much easier to learn to play the synthesiser...... not as much fun though.
  14. I put my P&C in the effects loop of my Meatball for some great synth tones. Not much use on its own though.
  15. Alas, not so in my case.
  16. A doddle. I've had a couple of these, mine were the ones with solder lugs, so this one, which has the screw terminals will be even easier. Do it. Honestly these are the best after-market preamps I've ever put in a jazz.
  17. HollyWood - RHCP https://youtu.be/fXGelB9uxcM
  18. Hopefully she's sat at home safe and warm and wood-shedding whilst we're left wasting time on here!
  19. Stinkfoot - Zappa
  20. These two are very different beasts. The RS77 are much higher tension than the Nexus strings; if you're going to move to 77s from the nexus then drop a gauge e.g. .105" to .100", that will mitigate the increased stiffness.
  21. I always find that live albums are the best way to discover what a band is capable of. Good suggestion.
  22. Last night I dreamt that somebody loved me - Die Schmitts.
  23. Teenage Prostitute - Zappa
  24. Nope. I refuse to read things that are in comic sans font too.
  25. Agreed. BSSM is pretty much the perfect album; incredible performances of great songs that were recorded and produced in a manner that embellished all of the above.
