  2. I do this with an octave pedal into an envelope filter with a prunes & custard in its fx loop. Gets me close enough to pass the punter test.

  20. This ^. It always amazes me when I see guitarist boards with literally thousands of pounds worth of boutique pedals and most of the time they're tied together with the cheapest, nastiest patch cables known to man.

  22. That’s what I thought. If it’s behaving like a linear taper then we’d need to see the diagram.
  23. If the volume is acting like an on/off switch then it sounds like the volume pot has a linear taper instead of logarithmic. Can you measure the pot taper with a multimeter? Also, do you have a copy of your wiring diagram?
