  1. This came from a Fender Jazz I recently bought but I don't need it. It's an original Fender logo D Tuner with the Hipshot logo engraved on it - see pics. Excellent condition comes with the mounting screws though one is in poor condition and will probably need replacing. The Tuner works as it ought to. Postage can be arranged if needed UK only.
  2. Sold pending payment - that was quick!
  3. Ha ha it is rather striking I took it to a gig last night and our drummer said you could lose yourself to the Darkside with that bass!
  4. All black Fuji-gen Fender MIJ Precision Bass with gigbag. E Series serial number manufactured in the mid 1980's. It's light weight at under 9lbs and balances well. It is powerful sounding and has been looked after with only minor scuffing and wear to the body, neck and black chrome finish. No big knocks or chips and a tiny ding just above the volume control. Aftermarket heavier bridge that has had a couple of the stripped grub screws replaced. Great construction and quality, lots of life in the frets, truss rod adjusts, typical P Bass feel. Gigbag is scruffy and has been repaired but functions. No trades sorry, UK only. I can post at buyers cost.
  5. Nice where are you based? Is there a case with it? Thanks
  6. I thought as much body looks like a Hohner or something. Cheers
  7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Jazz-Bass-Special-Guitar-1987-Custom-Black-With-Case-Receipt-/272671251896?hash=item3f7c791db8:g:MLIAAOSw5cNYOvxs The body seems an odd shape for this style bass and bridge alignment looks wonky or is it simply the angle of the photo? Plus slight exaggeration of value of case!
  8. Many thanks it's a lovely looking thing, the headstock paint job is unusual for a Sandberg. Thanks for posting.
  9. I'd love to see pics however the link keeps inviting me to install an application - that I don't want. Could you possibly add one picture of the bass for those of us who want to see what people are getting excited about Cheers!
  10. It's always a quandary with these things isn't it? I can only say I've had many Precisions US, MIJ, and custom jobs and this ranks as one of the best, the neck is much flatter than usual and very comfy, the weight is nice and light. Never felt a lighter 70's Precision. I'm only selling because I got my old Jazz bass back after it was missing in action for 20 odd years! Thanks for your interest!
  11. The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Basslines and the neck from a 1980's Fender Japan Jazz. Both work as they ought to with a nice punchy sound. No issues and in good cosmetic condition. Now sold thanks!
  12. My JV Jazz bass has the woven wiring and so do both my JV Precisions. If you look at the 21 frets site (dedicated JV material and info) you'll see lots of pics with this kind of wiring.
  13. That's light for a G&L
  14. Love these basses - any ideas on weight please?
  15. Hofner HCT Contemporary Violin Bass This is the modern take on the classic Violin Bass made in China with German pickups. It compares very favourably to my '67 German model - on the left. Light and easy to play with a surprising array of tones. Currently strung with roundwounds. Bought as a backup whilst my '67' was being serviced. No trades, pickup preferred but I can post at cost.
  16. £895 gets this lovely old bass
  17. It looks like it was owned (and possibly used) by a serial killer
