  1. To clarify I’m happy to post in the UK.
  2. Stage I or II? Does it have USB and the arpeggiator? Thanks.
  3. Fender Japan 2006 Mustang Bass This is a ‘crafted in Japan’ model in an orangey fiesta red colour. The bass has a few dings but nothing major or structural. Plays really well and sounds great. Very light and well balanced - the action is great, frets and truss rod look fine. It’s string with Fender 40-95 nicklewounds. There are a couple of holes one on the upper bout and one on the lower edge where strap buttons have been mounted - like my ‘66 Mustang it has been played left-handed at some point. I’m selling as now my ‘66 has been set up this is surplus to requirements. The only trade I’d consider is for one of the MIM PJ type Mustang basses as I fancy trying one out. Nothing else. Now sold thanks for your all your pms. It weighs 3.5kgs. Last pic shows it with the ‘66 which is not for sale
  4. EMG pickup includes all wiring and pots. It had been hard-wired to the output jack rather than using the clips when I bought it. Works perfectly and only mounted briefly on my Precision but I prefer passive pickups. Boxed with instructions. Price is posted in the UK.
  5. A brand new set - price includes UK post roundwound medium gauge
  6. Bought these strings today for my Fender Mustang but they aren’t long enough for my through body string bass so the thinner bit sits on the nut. The strings haven’t been used although the E string was briefly fitted and trimmed when I realised the problem. They will fit most shortscale basses with a non string through bridge. Price includes postage. UK only.
  7. It’s a great bass I can vouch for it!
  8. He was looking for one
  9. Another deal done - great to trade with as ever! Thank you Alain
  10. I have to ask....how much does it weigh? 🙂
  11. Cheers Dunc - the pickups and preamp are excellent on this bass and it plays beautifully. A lot of bass for little money!
  12. Replied and still for sale
  13. If you can’t afford an original early Fender Precision bass how about this? It’s a gorgeous 1982 non-export JV Precision Bass made in Japan allegedly to the specs/blueprint of pre CBS Fender. The bass differs from the JV export series in that it has none reverse tuners and a bridge with single thread saddles. The bass is completely original and was imported from Japan and used in a studio for several years before I recently bought it. The neck is lovely quite shallow with a vintage feel without the width and clubbiness of some later P basses. A clean dark rosewood board, slim frets and a low action. Truss rod has plenty of play. The two piece body is made of highly figured Sen Ash. It’s light weight at just over 8lbs with a nice balance. Pickups sound great and everything works as it ought too. The sunburst has a true vintage vibe to it and is in very good condition for a 35 year old working bass! The original owner even had it featured on the 21frets JV website gallery! I didn’t think I’d be selling this but something very special turned up yesterday that I couldn’t resist and as I already own three JVs one had to go. I haven’t had opportunity to bond with this one so last in first out. This really is a lovely vintage quality collectible bass for not much money. Sorry no trades and no none UK buyers please - there isn’t a case or bag so pickup preferred but I will post insured at buyers cost. Thanks Some very high quality pics of this bass prior to my ownership here - http://www.21frets.com/squier_jv/gallery12.htm
  14. Hi Prowla - According to eBay it has been sold to me and I paid for it so I don’t know what your previous reply refers too? Glitch in the system perhaps? Cheers
  15. Cheers I’ll report back when I get it, looking forward to it!
