  1. I think it's all a bit suspect the plate looks handmade and there is still the matter of the missing serial number. I may just point him in the direction of 21frets.....however eBay rules don't tend to let you send such details on messages these days.
  2. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Squier-JV-Jazz-Bass-1982-Fender-Logo-Brass-Neckplate-/222632234009?hash=item33d5ea4c19:g:e~wAAOSwH1lZqrkc How come I've not heard of this 'brass plate option' before........?
  3. Vintage Icon fretless bass - this is the Jaco tribute with the roadworn sunburst finish and Wilkinson hardware and pickups. It's a very nice to play fretless, great feeling neck and much easier to play accurately because of the fret lines. A few dinks but it's hard to say what's real or fake wear and tear. The pots are what lets this down really as they suffer from earth buzz - a nice new wiring loom would work wonders as it really is well put together. Strung with Daddario flats. Weighs just over 9lbs I'd say. Comes with Stagg gigbag. No trades and pickup preferred. I've no box but could pad with bubble wrap to post if necessary or take the neck off.
  4. This was mine at one point a lovely playing little bass and very easy on the shoulder whoever buys this will be very happy 😊

  6. Moog Slim Phatty analog synth module based on the Little Phatty keyboard. The synth features two oscillators, Moog filter, midi, cv and USB. Great for leads, basses and arpeggios. The synth is as new and only used in the studio. Comes with all accessories and original box. UK only no trades as I'm downsizing.
  7. Yes the old amps were fine it's the speaker technology that's moved on leaps and bounds. It's still here and still going cheap!
  8. Better pics to follow
  9. I knew you'd like it
  10. Here's a lovely MIJ ESP bass from the late 80s early 90s. It's in an unusual sparkly mint green finish with a matching headstock. Hardware is gold and it has the 'Tele-style' headstock. It is a passive bass with a single tone and volume and three way switch. When I bought it the bridge pickup was dead so I replaced with a Squier type. I'll include the original in the price. It weighs under 9lbs and plays superbly with a good balance and punchy articulate sound with plenty of tonal variation. Some dings to the finish but nothing structural, good frets, straight neck and working trussrod. Comes with a knackered but useable case. No trades as I'm downsizing. I could post but only in the UK and at your cost. Thanks for looking.
  11. Ha ha no that is the truth if it had been the heart shaped one I would've kept it in case of any glam rock type gigs - I have played it at a gig and it raised a smile although it did sound good
  12. Bump need rid so make an offer
  13. A very nice example - these basses are superb both my main 'Fender' basses are JV Squiers from this era. The 21frets site gives lots of info about them. Good luck with the sale.
  14. Cheers it's such a great synth but downsizing means it needs to go
  15. I contacted him the first time it appeared and questioned its lineage, no surprises no reply....
  16. This is the Korg limited edition reissue of the legendary ARP Odyssey Mark 1 whiteface, the model favoured by Dave Formula of Magazine, Herbie Hancock and John Foxx. I've owned several originals and this is spot on soundwise but construction and modern components are far superior to vintage units so it's 100% reliable! It's been hand assembled in the US and limited to 500 units - I believe production has now stopped. It is in as new condition boxed with all manuals, PSU and accessories. These cost around £1300 street so this is a good saving. Note that it's the full size version not the cheaper mini key model. I can post but it's a big unit so it will be expensive and it's UK only. No trades.
  17. The original Cobra was 60 watts and had a 12" speaker and then they brought out the 90 version that was also available as a head. I'd love to hear what a Cobra 90 would sound like through a modern cab like a Bareface.
  18. I used a Cobra 90 combo and a JV Squier for years. No backups.I bought it used from Chase Music in Manchester for £125. Our drummer who was an electrician put a balanced line on it and we replaced the speaker when it eventually blew with a Celestion. The only reason the speaker blew was heavy use by other bands as it became our rehearsal place's amp on loan as it was so efficient. It was a great little amp for the money and served me well for about 9 years! I'd love to get that one back for nostalgia's sake I've still got the JV Jazz.
  19. This is an 80's amp that I'm selling because of a move to a smaller house. It's a very old Carlsbro and though it's rated around 100 watts it's plenty loud enough to compete with a drummer and great as a starter or backup amp. It's the one with the filter buttons that cut and boost the signal. It works as it ought to although it's a bit rough cosmetically and has been serviced over the years. No trades sorry and pickup preferred but I can post for a tenner UK only. It's probably more of a nostalgia item for bassists of a certain age but it's a testament to old UK companies like Carlsbro that it still sounds pretty good!
