  1. Yes it was someone called Greg and I’m afraid my answer to his offer was rather curt. I often wonder if people automatically assume you are desperate for cash when you try to sell on eBay? Anyway the offer was dismissed I think he has bought one from me before but through John Carling and that was for a lot more money!
  2. For the buyer - the customs charges are paid but there’s a handling fee by the broker, it tends to cost about twice as much as normal customs charges would be however they do go through quicker.
  3. I got the FS version and the key bed was not worth the extra £500, I sold it straight away and intend to get the module version.
  4. I bought a Moog Rogue secondhand in1986 from Dawson’s Music in Burnley for £150 - we also bought a Korg CX organ from Chase in Manchester for £250. The much gigged, sampled and recorded Moog broke down in 2010 and I sold it for spares for £350, the Korg is still going strong though we use a Nord now. I’m still looking for a replacement Rogue but the Subphatty has a similar richness to it though the smaller keyboard lets it down. I also bought two Korg Micropresets for £30 each from Dawson’s in 1986, not quite as cool as the Rogue but still useful little synths. Everyone wanted a DX7 in the 80s but we were skint and had to go with cheaper synths and analogue was what we could afford. The only dud we had was a Korg Delta poly synth that was totally unreliable and half way through gigs would generally pack up and sound like a load of car horns!
  5. Yes it is mine and it didn’t sell - I had interest but from overseas and some very low ball offers too so I’ll probably hang on to it as it’s something I doubt I’ll see again. I would’ve listed it on here first but thought I’d best not due to being similar to the unmentionable. A stateside JB collector wanted to bid but I don’t like sending things overseas when using eBay and also their global shipping option is a complete con!
  6. To clarify I’m happy to post in the UK.
  7. Stage I or II? Does it have USB and the arpeggiator? Thanks.
  8. Fender Japan 2006 Mustang Bass This is a ‘crafted in Japan’ model in an orangey fiesta red colour. The bass has a few dings but nothing major or structural. Plays really well and sounds great. Very light and well balanced - the action is great, frets and truss rod look fine. It’s string with Fender 40-95 nicklewounds. There are a couple of holes one on the upper bout and one on the lower edge where strap buttons have been mounted - like my ‘66 Mustang it has been played left-handed at some point. I’m selling as now my ‘66 has been set up this is surplus to requirements. The only trade I’d consider is for one of the MIM PJ type Mustang basses as I fancy trying one out. Nothing else. Now sold thanks for your all your pms. It weighs 3.5kgs. Last pic shows it with the ‘66 which is not for sale
  9. EMG pickup includes all wiring and pots. It had been hard-wired to the output jack rather than using the clips when I bought it. Works perfectly and only mounted briefly on my Precision but I prefer passive pickups. Boxed with instructions. Price is posted in the UK.
  10. A brand new set - price includes UK post roundwound medium gauge
  11. Bought these strings today for my Fender Mustang but they aren’t long enough for my through body string bass so the thinner bit sits on the nut. The strings haven’t been used although the E string was briefly fitted and trimmed when I realised the problem. They will fit most shortscale basses with a non string through bridge. Price includes postage. UK only.
  12. It’s a great bass I can vouch for it!
  13. He was looking for one
  14. Another deal done - great to trade with as ever! Thank you Alain
  15. I have to ask....how much does it weigh? 🙂
  16. Cheers Dunc - the pickups and preamp are excellent on this bass and it plays beautifully. A lot of bass for little money!
