  1. Also noted the tuners have been changed originals were possibly lollipop types
  2. Yes I noticed that and also the saddles have the wrong type of screws in them but these are typical mods/upgrades of a bass this age I reckon. My 71 P Bass had a bass nut and bridge.
  3. I've made an enquiry and speculative offer so here's hoping 🤞
  4. Just to clarify postage is for the UK only.
  5. I’m in Lancaster. Bridge is still available pm me if you are interested
  6. Omega heavy duty Bass Bridge like the Badass II for sale, excellent condition with black mounting screws. Saddles haven't been grooved but they are marked from where the strings have sat. Price includes U.K. postage.
  7. Calling Karlfer! 😊
  8. Lovely looking bass. The white and maple combo is very classy! I've just bought a Jazz Deluxe otherwise I would've been on this. Won't be around for long.
  9. Yes that's it I couldn't link it using my phone. Cheers!
  10. I don't know how to link the ad however it's ID number is 1266071854 The seller was really helpful however the bass is a little heavy for my tastes. Looks in great condition and it's an early one from 1982. With the round pickups and mahogany fixed neck construction and slimmed off P bass shape. Has a case too. They are looking for offers around £600. I have no connection with the seller but thought this may be of interest to someone on here. Cheers
  11. I bought this from Basschatter cd_david earlier this week, a lovely old Tokai Hardpuncher bass dating from 1981/82 according to the original owner. The logo and headstock shape points to an early model. It has been refurbished with new hardware including Grover tuners and tort scratchplate and the pickup replaced with a MIM Precision. The neck is in excellent shape and the body has only a few dings and blemishes. There is a battery box at the back when the original owner had installed an EMG active pickup. The body and neck are stamped and there is a seven digit serial number on the neck plate. The frets are superb and I actually suspect that it's been refretted. It comes strung with flats and includes a case. Only selling because I have the opportunity to purchase a very nice JV bass that matches my JV Jazz. This is a lovely old MIJ Tokai for not much cash. Bass is now sold.
  12. Yes they are a lot of bass for not much cash
  13. I think it's all a bit suspect the plate looks handmade and there is still the matter of the missing serial number. I may just point him in the direction of 21frets.....however eBay rules don't tend to let you send such details on messages these days.
  14. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Squier-JV-Jazz-Bass-1982-Fender-Logo-Brass-Neckplate-/222632234009?hash=item33d5ea4c19:g:e~wAAOSwH1lZqrkc How come I've not heard of this 'brass plate option' before........?
  15. Vintage Icon fretless bass - this is the Jaco tribute with the roadworn sunburst finish and Wilkinson hardware and pickups. It's a very nice to play fretless, great feeling neck and much easier to play accurately because of the fret lines. A few dinks but it's hard to say what's real or fake wear and tear. The pots are what lets this down really as they suffer from earth buzz - a nice new wiring loom would work wonders as it really is well put together. Strung with Daddario flats. Weighs just over 9lbs I'd say. Comes with Stagg gigbag. No trades and pickup preferred. I've no box but could pad with bubble wrap to post if necessary or take the neck off.
  16. This was mine at one point a lovely playing little bass and very easy on the shoulder whoever buys this will be very happy 😊
