  1. Thankyou just my iPhone and a sunny evening 😊

  3. I asked and he said non payer. Not sure about this one now. I bid last time and was next highest bidder, there was no second chance offer to me.
  4. Peavey Foundation Bass I am selling this US made Peavey Foundation with maple board and cream finish. It’s in very good condition and the neck is nice and slim. I had it strung with heavy strings and tuned it with a low D for a while but now I’ve decided to buy a 5 string so I’m getting rid. I recently had the neck pickup rewound by Aaron Armstrong at Armstrong pickups who did a great job. These Super Ferrites are highly regarded but hard to get into to repair. It’s a nice light weight bass under 9lbs with a Jazz vibe to it. No case or bag so I may take the neck off to transport it if postage is required. These basses are well regarded for the price. I reckon this one dates from the early 90s. Pickup preferred so you can play it. No trades. Can post in the UK at buyers cost.

  6. Another day another of my Precision Basses for sale! This time a nice 2010 US made Precision in sunburst with a maple board. This is a beautiful instrument and although well gigged it is in excellent playing and very good cosmetic condition and comes with the original but rather battered case (does the job though). The bass sounds and plays superbly, frets are excellent and the neck is straight with lots of adjustment at the trussrod. It has the through body/top load bridge and the light weight modern tuners. It weighs just over 4kgs so nice and light for long gigs. The bass has some minor scuffs and blemishes - there is a ding and a dent at the back of the neck but fortunately these aren’t a problem when playing. I’m not looking for trades - I’m trying to thin out my collection as I currently own five Precision basses including this one and the black one recently sold. This is a classic modern Precision. UK only sorry - I prefer pickup but will post at buyers cost if absolutely necessary.

  8. They are wonderful basses and always get comments from people because they are such great sounding and looking instruments - I have owned many and a couple of projects yet to complete. I sell them and then end up getting them back or buying different ones. I do need to cut down my collection. 😅
  9. Looks legit to me and I will no doubt have a flutter.
  10. I bought this from Geoff of this forum recently, alas a slight miscalculation of weight means it’s just a tad too heavy for my dicky neck and shoulder at just over 4.2kgs. It’s as it left Geoff with the exception of me restringing it. The spare original white scratchplate is also included. It’s a lovely bass and plays beautifully. A great neck and punchy sound. A great example of a modern Precision. Pickup is preferred but I will post at buyers cost U.K. only no trades. Here is Geoff’s original post
  11. Leave it alone! It’s got the honourable marks of time - mostly your time so keep the history. Post a picture of it too 😊
  12. There is a good article here in tribute to this legendary player whose death was recently announced - https://www.notreble.com/buzz/2020/09/30/in-memoriam-francis-rocco-prestia/
  13. Those screw on bits are awful, he makes a point of the red tint to the weave in the ad but I wasn’t aware of Status doing that, is it just a light reflection? Also anyone notice the odd machine head, what’s that all about then?
  14. I’m selling this old Marathon to fund another build project - this one is all original there is some lacquer checking but it is the original finish. Neck is excellent as are the electrics. It’s in very good condition - the string guides which are Shergold - are later additions to the bass. A small area of binding has been repaired. Looking for £475 if anyone is interested. I’m not looking for trades. More pics on request. It’s very light weight at under 4kgs. Single output version with stereo switch. Can post at buyer’s cost in the UK only. Sorry no case.
  15. What’s the weight of this and what year is the body? Maybe a daft question but what happened to the original neck? Thanks
  16. As new, only a few months old it’s boxed with adapter and manuals. I can post for £22 but pickup preferred. It’s a great synth, I used it for a one off project but it’s now surplus to requirements and so surplus to requirements as my home studio is a bit small for a large synth like this to be stored in unused - no trades. 37 Full-size keys Monophonic/Duo-phonic synthesizer Controls: octave +/-, pitch bend, modulation 2 VCOs with sawtooth and square/pulse VCO sync VCO pulse-width modulation Noise generator Ring modulator Low-pass filter with resonance 3 Selectable filter circuits Adjustable high-pass filter Switchable overdrive 1x AR- and 1x ADSR envelope VCO 1 can be used as LFO Digital effects section 32-Step sequencer Arpeggiator
  17. Mark Bass Traveller 15” Bass Cab Italian made version. This cab is compact and a reasonable weight however it can pump out 400 watts into 8 ohms so lots of power for bigger gigs standalone or combined with another cab or combo. Complete with Roqsolid fitted waterproof cover. Pickup only as it is bulky. No trades. Please do not buy if you can’t collect it. It’s a seriously loud pro cab for not much cash!

  19. Any maple boards 😁?
  20. Great basses these if only it had a maple board...
  21. Aww poor thing 😳
  22. Yes!
  23. I’ve added more pics showing this
  24. Here is a small but perfectly formed mini P bass. It’s around half the size of a normal sized instrument. I put heavy cut down flats on it as normal strings - even short scale ones - don’t give decent tension. It now plays fine. The bass is all stock and comes with its original but rather gusty smelling carry case/gig bag in fetching brown leatherette. The cream covered pickups aren’t Dimarzios but sound fine. The electrics are okay and I’ve given it a good clean. The finish has many blemishes and darker patches where stickers have been removed. It looks like someone has attempted to buff it up at some point and caused the finish to go duller. The hardware works as it ought to and the truss rod works fine. The bass plays and sounds good. Just like a Precision and punches far above its puny size. It looks to have been made from decent wood as it’s quite heavy - obviously in proportion it isn’t a boat anchor by any means. I bought it for a one off event that’s now cancelled so I’m going to sell it on. I’ve not seen one before but have owned several Maya basses that have been decent quality as this one is. It’s certainly a talking point and would be great for a child or smaller player. More pics to follow but here is one to show it in comparison to a full scale bass. No trades. Can post at cost UK only.
