  1. A lovely Japanese made Fender PB-57 Precision. It’s loosely based on the ‘57 era P bass and made around 1996 with the 50th anniversary sticker. The neck is excellent on this model with minor fretwear, working trussrod and easy action . The bass is light at 3.7kgs and balances well. It has been well gigged and has plenty of dings and touch up areas of finish nothing structural however. Hardware is very good, pots have been changed sometime in its history and are of high quality. The pickup has the usual Precision range of tones and sounds exactly as you would expect. As most will know the Made in Japan basses of this era are of first class build quality. I’m happy to post in the UK only at buyers cost. No case sorry. I’m selling for what it owes me and only selling because I need a boiler more than a second black and maple Precision bass! No trades. Thanks
  2. And replied and still available - note that there is no case with this instrument.
  3. It’s alder like all the MM replacements Billy
  4. Withdrawn as parting it out.
  5. Bumping this again. Great cab at a cheap price for its condition. I have had enquiries about couriers but have decided pickup is best on this.
  6. Withdrawn Here is a 1977/78 Fender Precision in factory natural finish, as far as I’m aware it is stock Fender however the scratchplate is not original to the bass. This was bought by myself as the scratchplate it was sold to me with was a replacement part. The electrics haven’t been messed about with and the pickup is stock. The original switchcraft output Jack is a little scratchy but easily replaced. Neck is straight and true. I have added pictures of the neck butt, neck pocket and internals. The only replacement parts I can see are the Dunlop strap buttons. The white scratchplate is a Fender from the late 70’s and fits perfectly. The bass also comes with a Fender case of this era. I’m keeping this I’ll never get one in as good condition with a manageable weight.

  7. I’m not sure of the model but it certainly sounds good and punchy - it was intended for an old US bass I bought recently but I’ve decided to get the original pickup restored. The pickup comes with sponges and non original box. Price includes postage.
  8. Here we have a Badass II bridge I was going to install on a 70’s Precision but decided to keep all original. This bridge has new slotted saddles installed but comes with the original hand cut saddles. Excellent condition but no mounting screws. Price includes UK postage.
  9. I bought this Fender replacement body new a few months ago - now withdrawn

  10. Treat yourself to an early Christmas present then ! 😊
  11. Squier Classic Vibe Precision neck only. This is brand new and includes tuners and string tree. I bought a complete CV bass but want the body for another project so the neck is up for grabs. It is very high quality and comes with tags. Again please note this is for the neck only. The picture shows it attached to a MIM P bass body but this is not included. The neck will make a great replacement or project part. It has no dings and is virtually as new. Sorry no trades. Price includes postage UK only. No other parts included.
  12. It sold 5 years ago and I’ve no idea why it’s still on here sorry I’m sure I marked it as sold when I removed the pictures
  13. No it’s the grain of the wood. You can see it depending on the angle of the light.
  14. Here is a rather nice Squier VM Precision which to me is the spit of a 70’s Telecaster Bass. It has a Fender decal on the headstock but is definitely a Squier! It has the beefy humbucker at the neck which is probably one of the most powerful pickups of all time. There is one odd tuner on the E - you can only tell when you take the string off as it has no hole through the post possibly a manufacturing fault. It works perfectly well however. Bass weighs 4kgs, it’s strung with flats and plays and sounds great. I reckon this bass is perfect for modding but that’s up to you as it’s a lovely instrument as it is. It has had a paint touch up on a ding on the bottom edge otherwise in gigged but excellent condition. No trades I can post in the UK at buyer’s cost. Now sold thanks for your interest!
  15. Sorry for being pedantic but the bassist from Flintlock used a Hayman 40/40 admittedly a forerunner to the Shergold Marathon. 😉
  16. Open to reasonable negotiation
  17. This is a lovely bass a great example of a Shergold. GLWTS
  18. I’m glad it hasn’t got the maple board otherwise my pockets would be very empty! Good luck with the sale.
  19. Ah I thought I’d seen it recently it is the twin of mine - mine has its original case too. My favourite short scale to play but far heavier than the Gibson here.
  20. Oh no I wouldn’t want to sell that - I thought you had one?
