    I got in touch, he knows what he's got - though I didn't tell him! I used to own one like this but it had the stock p bass pickup. I'm going to have a bid on this one as I miss my old one I asked him for a BIN price but he's going to let it run.....wish me luck hopefully it won't go for a daft price because of the modifications.

    I'm not sure if the JVs were available as a stock fretless, I've owned two with plain ebony boards but both had been customised - so I got them much cheaper. The one that was sold on eBay was a bargain for a JV Jazz even if it was converted.
