  1. BTW does anyone know some details about pickups and electronics?
  2. Had one 14 years ago. Now again.
  3. If I were forced by some mysterious power (AKA wife) to get along with only 1 instrument, it would be the Vigier Arpege III 6string.
  4. I don't remember having said anybody telling what bass I should play. Do you?
  5. On thing that blocks me from hitting the ground is that no size fits all. Each of my drummers has his preferences, and that differs wildly. A bass that pleases one drummer, annoys, distracts or puts to sleep the other drummer. I like my drummers, I like having many basses, so we're fine.
  6. Once I was down to 2 basses. Now 9 plus 1 on sale.
  7. Anything up from 30 EUR for 6m will do the trick. It's mostly about being sturdy.
  8. I collected within very short time 3 Leduc 6ers. My other basses are getting pretty upset. 🙂 If it were a 6er, I'd grab it.
  9. To me, the best fretless. Sorrily not available as a 6er
  10. I'm a huge fan of the 0-fret concept. Having owned several Lefays and others basses with it. PRO: - lower, more natural string action in low positions - open string provides same sound as fretted CON: - none The 0-fret is typically a little bit thicker than the other frets.
