1. did and do both each approach has pros and cons what really counts: the musicians are having fun, and the listeners are having fun whether it's a band of 16 year old punks writing originals based on the same old three chords, but played KICK ASS or a string quartett doing that tasty Beethoven thing Does it make any difference???
2. Beautiful playing by some russian guy: http://baseofmp3.com/?q=Takamine+b10 (go to the bottom of the page, don't stop by the sirens)

4. Bought a Yamaha Magicstomp from GreeneKing. Original package and all manuals included. Great guy, reasonable pricing, fast shipping.
5. yeah. Am playing Elixirs for years. It's incredible how you play a sweaty gig and the morning after they sound as good as the moning before. Sorrily the new stainless steels aren't yet available for sixstringers (the c-string is still missing).
6. Boss TU-2 is well established and fixed on my pedalboard. Added a Korg Pitchblack to my stash bag, just to have a good tuner always at hand.
7. After extended search and testing'n'trying I finally ended up with the rather expensive Reunion Blues Continental Bag. I'm really happy with it. It's extremely robust, protects the instrument very well, handling on hand and with shoulder straps is better than any gigbag I tried. And finally, it looks great (says may wife). Any opinions?
8. ignoring your requierements I recommend Neotech Super Bass Strap
9. another example punk rock gig in a small club. we're builing up the backline, doing some line checks. everythings easy. a guy shows up: "May I play your guitar?" "huh?" "May I play your guitar for the first few songs?" "You're kiddin'" guy: stares at me me: "No." guy: hates me me: "No." guy: leaves
10. some guys you meet don't get it. example: a few years ago we (me, playing bass, and a drummer) were up to form a band, funkrock style, RHCP-ish. so the idea was pretty clear. showed up a guy with a guitar (please don't call him guitarist), yadda yadda, plugs in: krrfrrzztr huh? we start playing some typical groove, the guitar joins in: krrfrrzztr pardon? it was not, that there was any technical issue, it was just the noise he generated when hitting the strings with his pick: krrfrrzztr short discussion about the musical concept he: "oh, I've been through this. no need to talk, just play": krrfrrzztr after another fruitless try I suggested that we seem to have different musical targets. he agreed, left the rehearsal room and was never seen again.
11. Here Adrian playing a spanish influenced tune:
12. Knowing Adrian for 20+ years, since he started playing gigs in the region around Aachen, Germany, I wonder if he is known outside Germany and Poland. Because I really admire his bright musicality and he melody-centered way of playing I'd like to give same hints for those who are interested in bassplaying beyond technical wizardry and showing off. Here a example of his beautiful melodic playing: His wonderful quartett Gadu Gadu combines european folkloristic music with original compositions: (please note that I'm aware that Adran promotes his own series of instruments and equipment, but I just want to shed some light on this great musician)
13. after playing several big arse amps (Genz Benz 1200, Gallien 1001, Trace Elliot 600, different preamps with PA-slave-amp) I finally ended up with a Mesa Boogie 400+ and a Thunderfunk 750. Both are too got to give them away. The TF with two 2x12" SAD cabs (= 2 Ohm) generates the loudest, clearest, full bottomiest attack I ever experienced.
14. because I own a Thunderfunk 750, I'm not interested. :-))
15. don't sell it. Me too, I won't sell my 400+. The only other amp I own ist a Thunderfunk 750.
