2.
I think he means just buy the CTM300 and problem solve lol.
You can get a Mesa Boogie Prodigy for the price of a CTM300 A cheaper option is to get a older all-valve head, e.g. Sound City 120 or 200 and just use the power amp stage though the Effects Return.
 3.
Where are you, if I want to look at this bass?
There's a clue in the original post.

 5.
yo does it have the extension bits to turn it into 1U?
Regretably not.
 6.
When it comes to size, I'd vote for like 22 inches, so it's fits standard bass cab. Most 19" wide cabs are designed to go with portable class D amps.
Well that's a new one on me. I've never heard of a standard bass cab before.
 7. If I remember correctly Park were made and sold by Marshall as a way of circumventing a sole distributor deal that Jim Marshall had made with Rose Morris. More info at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshall_Amplification

 14. I have a new never fitted Sadowsky pre-amp. I've just checked and the pot threads are all 3/8-inch.
 15.
As per above, that's just a prototype, and the liklihood is that production models will be 19" or less. I agree with you entirely. I couldn't own a rig with a head wider than a cab.
Just spotted that point. Excellent.
 16. Looks very nice and I'm sure it sounds wonderful however why build a modern day amp to the width of a Marshall 4x12 cab when most folk are using cabs that are much narrower. Even a 19-inch flight case can be too wide for some. Having an amp hanging over the cab just looks ill conceived and untidy.
 17.
Dave, Is it not working with your CN212?
works fine Chris. Phil and Vic want to try it and it'll give me chance to give it a blast.
 18. I have a Prodigy but have yet to gig it. Am taking it over to Bass Gear this week to try with different cabs. Very nicely engineered.
 19.
Wow nice basses
Thanks. Sadly all gone to new homes now. That was 2007. If you have any questions at all about the J-Retro give John East a call. He's a great guy and will talk you through it all.
 20. Both DJ5 and a DJ4.
 21. Excellent. 3-band with swept mid. Very popular and used by many top players.
 22. John East sells a J-Retro that is on the same curved control plate as the DJ5 and it just drops straight in.
