    I need to accurately position a pup for a build I'm doing. Could you guys with Fender Precisions post the distance in mm from the centre of the 20th fret to the centre of the E/A pup poles please?* Also does anyone know if the position ever changed over the course of time? It might be interesting if those that post their dimensions also post their model and year to see if a pattern emerges. *Alternatively, does anyone have a link for Fender P scale plans/drawings? I've tried googling but could only find [url="http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/pdf_temp1/basses/0190116C/SD0190116CPg1.pdf"]these[/url] pretty useless things. Cheers.

    Me too. I've played this bass. It has a dark sound right enough. I heard more of a round arsed P rather than 'ray. Saying that I think my favourite pup position was inner single coils. The all over satin feel is frictionless wonder to behold and it's light weight is beyond the natural laws of physics. Matt is a top bloke to deal with, keeps his basses in tip-top condish and ain't too sloppy at a set up either. This bass will be like new to whomever snaffles it.

    Bought a set of Squier tuners off Andy. Let me tell you I've bought lots on here before and to date I've not seen anyone put in as much effort in making sure the tuners were wrapped as securely as Andy did. They arrived safely and in perfect nick. Cheers mate. A credit to the community. Rich.
