1. +1 for the tuner with mute. Or a volume pedal.
2. Er... when someone told you to flush the crap out of your machine heads......
3. I think JL answered the questions well enough and explained how best to execute it. And I'm not in the least bit surprised that from his stand point as a manufacturer that modifications to his design will void the warranty.
4. Nah I like the bass. I was on about his moustache.
5.
...I know for a fact if the shoe was on the other foot...
If the shoe really were on the other foot and you were offered an equivalently exciting deal which was tickling your dreams and aspirations, what would you do?
6. It sounds like a pretty raw deal for the artist to be honest. How long does a standard deal run for?
7. It's kinda fugly imo but to own it would be sooooo special. I wonder if it will ever be played again? -_-
8. A bit predictable but.... The Pingray. (but ask me again next week when my Wunkay arrives)
9. Ah well. I hope all goes well for you.
10.
I hate feelers but ideally I don't want to shift this, just I've been offered an amp endorsement and I'd need to shift this to fund it...
Pardon my ignorance. How does an endorsement deal work? You have to pay for it?..... type bump.
11. Sold pending the usual. Thank you everyone for your interest.
12. PM's replied. Andy : Aye sure that's fine as long as you don't mind the 52.7% APR? (I need it all up front buddy to pay for the new arrival ) Dave : Thanks but I'm fine with the one I already have.
????? Was this bandmate of yours deaf and blind...?
I'll bet it was the singer, too busy yapping to chicks or folk from other bands to help with loading and unloading. We had a singer that used to chuck his mic in the back of the van (if he hadn't forgotten it) and say "right lads that's my gear in" and he'd disappear to off to mingle.

We always try to keep someone with the gear too when we go away from home, whether it be band members or the WAGs.
15. Black Jazz with a Badass III shouldn't be too hard to spot. Hope you get it back mate. And a thousand deaths to sh*tes that half inched it.
16.
congrats, that's a beauty!... the one with the fabled OMG setting
Cheers yeah I'm soooo excited She's an '81-'82 - fair bit of mojo but not bashed about. Just praying for a safe journey over the Atlantic now.
17. Oh shoot! Look at what I've been and gone and done. I've only gone and bought it.
18. Heads up guys.
19. Didn't think I'd be doing this so soon but an imminent arrival of a dream bass and the missuses new "one in, one out" rule deems it. Mint condition (2009) 3 tsb, 70's reissue Jazz MIM -. I got this in a trade with Hank earlier this year. I've since ironed out the niggles Fender kindly included ie. tight G tuner, a misaligned bent tin bridge (by correctly fitting a new Badass II), I shielded her out fully, treated her to a set of TI flats and a proper set up. Beautiful burpy Jazz tone with '70's position bridge pup. My trade with Hank was valued at £450 + P&P. I want this back but bear in mind included in this sale is the Badass II, TI flats and the tweed case + candy. Fecking bargain! The bass will be posted 24hr, boxed and insured. Once this bass goes I will have to relinquish my TB '70's classic series club number - that's how serious I was about this bass.
20. Out of interest WOT, where (if at all) does the '51 P fit into the equation regarding this type of music?
21. Good call Dood. Although I try to avoid our local Maplins if at all possible (seriously the staff are all tards - I was in there recently for components, confused the hell out of the assistant with a rudimentary question, asked to speak to the manager who it turned out couldn't even tell the difference between a capacitor and a resistor ) but with a something like these (not exactly Van Dammes) I can give my UX2 it's own dedicated channel on my amp. Cheers again.
22. And it belongs to Charlton Heston too! I don't think it will stay this cheap though.
23. It's really hard to pin point what might be wrong from the other end of the internet not knowing your pup and switch configuration but you just need to check you've used the correct connections (it is most common to use the earth and ring as your switch) and you have no electrical shorts.
24. Daft question first, you've used stereo jack sockets yes? Can you get any clear pic of your wiring?
