i could be wrong but does the abm range not have the 2wing sign compared to the mag series having the half wing????
You're wrong.
Ceramic are you traditional guitar type. I don't know which "poly" ones they are referring to but....
Polyester caps are general, all purpose cheap jobs.
Polystyrene are very accurate caps used in test equipment etc.. susceptible to solvents etc.
Polypropylene are caps best suited to high quality audio applications.
Polycarbonate again good for audio and have good temperature handling qualities.
Some basses just have a lower output than others. My passive Jazz was like this, you just tweak your volume at your amp. Changing the pups or pre-amp will almost certainly have an effect on the tone it has that you like so much. Without know whether you bass has passive or active pups, you could try using a booster pedal.
hehhe you should have bought it off the first guy, the gumtree guy, cos i think the ebay guy is going to turn a profit on it!
This.

Everything you need to know right there ^ (Maplin do a cheap switch cleaner if you can't find Servisol)

It doesn't matter which way round you have them but you have to have them both the same so they aren't out of phase.
Looking good. That's a very pretty cavity (insert bishop/actress joke )
It's best to get rid of as much as you can though Matt. You have no way of knowing how it will react with the next batch of paint, undercoat included. Did the previous (ahem) "painter" take it back to the wood or are there gold remnants like I found in the neck pocket?
I was always put off by their looks. Until I actually got to play one (a Tokai) and was pleasantly surprised. I don't think I would buy one though.
I see that one of my all time bass heroes, Robert DeLeo has dropped the Schecters and taken to the T-bird.

I don't blame her. Adidas® is so passé.
As a nipper in the late '70s early '80s I was massively into the 2 Tone thing. These are a 2 of my favourite bass lines from then that I still fart about with today.
simple but effective
exquisite P tone

Can you print gold?
I make my own black ones but can't do the gold infills. I have a "one off" I need done and was going to contact a guy on ebay this morning who I've used before (theclash1968) but if it can be done through Basschat.... :brow:
