1. Anyone ever had a go at making a wedge shaped one of these, allowing the cab to tilt back a bit so you can hear it better? I feel a project coming on! Keep your eye on the amps for sale section - expect one LM2, slightly dented where it fell of the cab!
2.
I could be wrong but I think you need the one's with the bigger 1/2" posts.
So where is the measurement taken? According to my (cheap) Vernier calliper, the hole in the headstock measures 14.5mm, the threaded part of the tuner is 11.7mm and the winding post is 9mm. The part you grip to turn it is 34mm. Could you measure one yours for comparison please, Zalan
3. Anyone know whether these would fit a mex fender five string? Would probably double the value, though
4. Where are you based?
5. Can you take a photo of it and post on here? Sounds like mole grips is the way to go.
6.
Cant wait to gig with this tonight.
Nice one Steve, I'll open my window and listen out for you!!
7. I have been lucky to find a great example of a Mex Jazz 5 stringer, but I dont like the look of the tuners. Nothing wrong with them, they work fine but look pants in my opinion. I wouldn't mind changing them to a more traditional elephant ear type if I could find any that would fit. I wonder if anyone here has any experience or suggestions. Thanks in anticipation Andy
8. Thanks for the pms, will respond after work today!!
9. As new, boxed with instructions. Perfect working order, no issues. Free markbass bag (with sticky zipper!) if collected (Swindon) Will put a pic up if anyone wants, but its just the same as this one http://www.markbass....tail.php?id=102 No trades, I'm afraid, sorry!
10. Little Mark Tube of any interest to you? Could meet you on your way up to the midlands next sat.
11. On the Euro 5 I had, it felt like a really long stretch to the lower frets, more so than any other 35" scale I've used, to the point of discomfort on a long set. Mine also had a slight neck dive, although a decent strap pretty much eliminated that. Hugely powerful output, much to the annoyance of more than one sound engineer!

Just done a transaction with Mark, and he's an absolute gent to deal with, paid in double quick time and responds to messages equally quickly!
13. Hey, Raggy, I have a compact and I'm in Swindon, if you want to check it out sometime, drop me a pm and we can try and arrange a convenient time. Got a midget too
14. OBBM has one, I believe, he lives near Guildford, I expect he'll be bringing it to the SE Bash. I have a couple you could try out if you're ever down Swindon way
15.
I wonder why Norm can't do the gig?
He'll be playing with Wilko at the Summer Sundae weekender I would think.
16. This is what I did http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=Attach...st&id=20029 http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=attach...st&id=20030 Got a couple of seat belt comforters from Tesco for about a fiver and hot glued 'em in place. Been about 3 years now, with no adverse affect on the bass.
17. Got one of these myself, and I can confirm that they are identical to the LM11 inside. Have a bump for a great amp!
18. You could try a Speakon Splitter which will work but is a bit pricey imo, but what I've done is connect 2 leads into a single speakon, no soldering involved and only takes a few minutes as stated above.
19. Another lightning quick delivery of a top quality cable from Dave Why go anywhere else!
20. My Recurve and my J-Type
