    I really liked the Ash/Ebony and the Paduak/ Paduak. Both felt warmer than the Maple which was too clean for me.

    I own a Squier Standard with the PJ configuration - gives more kick than a Jazz and more tone than a Precision. Not sure having more options can be a negative thing...
