1. That's completely bonkers. I like it
2. Interesting six-bolt neckplate. My bitsa P-style fretless has a six-bolt plate; people seemed to think it might be a Kay, but this says maybe not. Its pup doesn't deliver anything like the output you're talking about though
3. Stlll skint, still too many basses.
4. Definitely looks the part
5. I do like the 2+3 headstock... not that I play fives, mind you Looks like a good deal!
6. I'm not clear whether this is an SGC Nanyo MIJ Bass Collection or something later; it needs more photos; seller says 1989. But it might be a good deal, if you're in reach of Scunthorpe. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bass-guitar-and-amp-/131549803800?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1ea0fab518
7.
My thoughts exactly but this week the mantra is " don't need another P bass, don't need another red bass, don't need another Peavey bass "
Yup
8.
Alyctes why not the adorable Dean in Nuclear Green ? I've had to stop myself from getting one many times But then I've my fair share like this or this
I don't like the green, but it's not actually god-awful... (I don't mind the crackly Washburn or the mauve perspex job, though the pointy headstocks don't help...)
9. I have a red Fury like that. Skinny neck, and really aggressive pup. Certainly worth £100 IMO
10.
Buckle rash not a problem here but cheese grater belly (or worse) might be...
Belt buckle might be a problem... snag a string and PING!
11.
Bad? I am disappointed that is in the states or I would be bidding!
Here you go... one in London: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dean-Electric-Bass-Guitar-Custom-Zone-Florescent-Pink-NEW-/281651474626?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4193bc70c2 and its nearly-as-horrible sister: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dean-Electric-Bass-Guitar-Custom-Zone-Yellow-NEW-/271827679160?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f4a3137b8
12. I bet the neck's proper uncomfortable. But I guess you might get used to it.
13.
Okay, the bottom string is 0.317" gauge. That's eight millimetres! You could make trussrods out of that.
I showed it to my son, and he said you'd have to play it with a mallet. Maybe it's a hammer dulcimer in drag?
14.
I would like to say to anyone who may be put off by a ply body that I bought one and made a bitsa bass with a fender usa pup and the sound is fantastic! Couldn't believe it. Now I use it quite often. It even has my name on the headstock: 'Legend' Seriously though they can sound really good. Have a bump.
Speaking as someone who bought a MusicDrive bass because its initials are the same as mine, I thank you for the gen and the bump
15. That's definitely different
16. Okay, the bottom string is 0.317" gauge. That's EIGHT MILLIMETRES !! You could make trussrods out of that.

19. I quite like the Antiguaburst. Also, my PC desktop is burgundy mist, or a good approximation to it.
20. Blimey Sorry, I can't add anything but good wishes.
21. Not sure about the voice, TBH.
22.
You see lots of free or ridiculously cheap pianos on Preloved/Freeloved. Five miutes searching found these: http://www.preloved....free-piano.html http://www.preloved....uned-piano.html http://www.preloved....ight-piano.html http://www.preloved....ight-piano.html http://www.preloved....ight-piano.html http://www.preloved....4025/piano.html I'm surprised that somebody hasn't found a use for the wood - bass bodies?? - if nothing else.
Hm. Might be possible to build a nice bass rack in the carcass of a dead piano... I think you could probably fit 8 or 10 basses in there.
23. I have a Kramer The Duke, so I have just the faintest inkling of what the sound is based on. (I recognise that bizarre through-bridge stringing arrangement, as well...) That's got to be a monster
24.
Yes the nut is quiet narrow
It wasn't a criticism - I was just a bit surprised by it. It's a looker, for sure.
25. This seems to be a rare beast. Seller is a BC member, if the name is anything to go by. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-BJ5B-Bass-Guitar-Terry-The-Blue-Jeans-5-String-SBV-Model-/191622594243?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2c9d98bec3 Also, that's a really, really narrow nut on a fiver...
