  1. Andy bought my MXR BOD. Clear, friendly communication and prompt payment. Many thanks.
  2. Sold pending payment.

  4. I’ve finally decided to let this go as I really don’t need three octavers. I’ve hung on to this one because it is hands down the best tracking octaver I’ve played. This will not let you down; it tracks all the open strings on my bass (bar the E) and all the way to bottom F#. It also tracks notes that my other two don’t. I just slightly prefer the sound of my other two for what I’m using them for (mimicking synth sounds in combination with fuzz and filter). When played with just octave and clean signal, this one is the fattest of the three I own. This is in mint condition (not a mark on it) and comes with the original box and all paraphernalia. Price includes recorded, next-day UK postage. I can post same day if payment is received by 8.30am.
  5. I watched the official demo video 1 year ago which was close to release time. Seen them in Berlin in the store I go to there too.
  6. Also, this can be run as octave only if desired.
  7. This has been out for ages.
  8. Dynamic octave fuzz is worth having as well as the Mastotron. ON and Mastotron in parallel sounds huge.
  9. Anyone currently checking out synth sounds would do well to give this a go. Run this into a filter (Manta works really well) and you’re pretty much there. Also, Ben is great to deal with. Someone needs to get on this bargain.
  10. Yeah, the Moog is super fat but no downsweep and limited envelope shape options (unless using CV) though I have a build idea which, if it works, will solve this, whereupon I’ll rebuy the Moog. By the way, I like the colouration that the Moog gives in bypass mode. For formants, check out the Future Impact for sale from the same seller. Also, Glou Glou’s new Pralines will do formants as it’s 4 parallel BP filters with individual frequency control. Glad you’re enjoying the Manta. Please share some patches on the dedicated thread when you are able to.
  11. This interesting new development from Industrial Radio just hit my Facebook feed. @andybassdoyle
  12. I haven’t had much chance to play it as family visitors arrived not long after I downloaded it. I probably won’t get chance to play it until next week, though a cursory play sounded great. Need to hook it up to a proper keyboard to play properly. I’d been waiting months for this to go back on sale as £30 was a bit steep. The only thing I’m finding awkward on the iPhone is setting the pitch sliders back to the centre - on the Moog app one can double click to do this, not so here. It’s probably much better on an iPad. Polyphony and a built-in sequencer! It’s likely that one could use the sequencer to drive the Moog app too.

  14. £14.99 instead of £28.99 until 8th August: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/arp-odyssei/id1147432809?mt=8
  15. Cool. Shame Margate is so far from me.
  16. Jonny just bought my Wonderlove. Clear, friendly and prompt communication and swift payment. A pleasure. Thanks, Jonny!
  17. I do. Not knowing which drive model is in use at any point is frustrating. Yes there’s more variety but only one preset. I agree that having presets is great and when using the hub it’s pretty easy. However, at the point of creating presets I need things to be easily accessible so as not to interrupt my creative flow. I found the Aftershock a hinderance in that regard. That being said, it is a fantastic pedal, just not for me.

  19. I may well regret this but I think it’s time I started slimming down a bit more. These are now discontinued and so no new stock is available in the UK now as Bass Direct is the only stockist. This is incredibly versatile due to the loop, which is one of the main reasons I kept it. However, for the kinds of things I’m using it for (mimicking synth sounds) I’ve found that I don’t need the loop any more as my Mastotron fuzz is powerful enough to drive my other filters. And when using filter alone I have a preference for my Q-Tron. There are plenty of options for tone shaping on this pedal due to its having separate attack and decay controls. The (footswitch-activated) expression input is a cool feature and if you plug in something like a Source Audio Reflex or Copilot Broadcast, you can have LFO-controlled filter sweep too! Pedal is in excellent condition (with a couple of minor surface marks on the base) comes with original box (but not the rubber feet). The only trades I’m interested in are for a Cog T-16 (v2)/T-70, Moog LPF and Moog Phaser. Price includes postage.
