They do have a lot of low end, but I got Ashdown to seal the ports on mine and it tightened up the sound nicely.

I’d reckon so, my ABM410 was plenty enough for gigs so can’t see the 210 not being enough in a rehearsal room.

There`s a dedicated Ashdown ABM600 thread, Dave. As a proud ABM600 owner I`ll heartily recommend them, best amp I`ve ever had.

I’d say the ABM600 puts out 300ish watts at 8ohms, but having had that exact same rig it’s plenty loud enough - for bigger gigs I added in an ABM210 but it wasn’t really needed, more of a luxury which looked nice (and it did sound good too, of course).

Cheers Rob, I often have to swap the foam, this is an excellent solution -
I used the 410 version on a tour a few years back and it was great. My rig at the time was similar, ABM600 with ABM410 & 210. The SVT410HLF with my amp head was pretty similar for volume settings so can only assume the 610 will more than match up. I have read that the HLFs are just bottom end flub but that wasn’t my experience, I had a twangy driven sound and it was fine, didn’t even change my eq.

Mono M80 or Vertigo. I use the M80 as the straps can be folded away, but they are pretty rucksack like on both of them.

I had the RM414 (the 4ohm 410) was plenty loud, and much lighter weight, around 50lbs thereabouts, would be ideal for the requirements.

It’s amazing the difference it makes getting the gain set so the VU meter is pushed into the red on the loudest notes. Sure it can be set by ears but having a visual really helps, brings the amp to another level imo.

I found the same with the sound on my one, Mark, and when I sold an amp to @Cosmo Valdemar he brought his Classic 50s Precision with him and it was the same with his one too. I reckon you might be right, that extra amount of maple neck could well be a contributing factor.

A mate of mine has one of those combos, and the full stack as well. Great sounding setup, even on the clean channel when pushed it sounded amazing.

We had to cancel our gig last night, a poorly singer projectile ejecting from both ends.

Nice, I had one of these years ago and the wide but shallow neck I found quite easy to adapt to. It also had a really nice snarl/bark to it.
