Congrats on new purchase. Looks lovely. I have a MIM P Bass and have just been blown away for the quality and playability of it. I suspect its Jazz sister is much the same. I've upgraded to the HiMass Fender Bridge and added a flats and Hipshot drop-tuner. Interestingly I have no issue at all with my machine heads and I wonder if there is some servicing that would help them be smoother.

Where is the gig? Sounds like it could be a fun audience-sing-along ..... You are very brave going through with it but I suspect the instruments with prevail and you can have a good jam if nothing else.

I tried a ETB on Sunday in GuitarGuitar and I was blown away. It has so much low end and such a lovely overall sounds and feel.

Steve travelled some distance this morning to by my Musicman Sub4 USA having messaged me and even offered to pay a deposit to hold for a couple of days (not needed). Lovely chap and no hassle at all - turned up on time and picked up bass and had a quick chat along the way. Thanks Steve 👍

SOLD Purchased from here around 6 months ago, this is in pristine condition and comes with power lead, carry case and I'll throw in a speakon cable. I recently bought a Little Bass Thing and am sticking with this. I am still very Orange 🙂 Prefer / inspection collection but can box up and send for £10. No trades as I have something else in mind fot the funds. -

NOW SOLD Purchased from here last month; insepcted and collected. It's a lovely bass but just not for me as I just always go back to my P-Bass. I'm considering converting this into fretless to have a 'unique' piece but given this is a reasonably rare beast in fretted version I thought I'd offer it up again before converting it as there are plenty of other fretless options and someone might appreciate this in its original form. ^this 100%. We formed the band at a PTA event and had kids at the same school. 15 years later we are still together with a new singer is similar position, still have our family and jobs as no.1 priority and understand these come first. We are fortunate that this is a hobby for us and whilst that is not the ideal motivation to be the best version version of ourselves, it does mean that we can choose what we do and enjoy doing it.

I don't think it's unrealistic that 4 years after releasing this, they are going for a v2. I suspect it will have a similar form factor and functionality with some improvements. Question should be, what would we want from a v2 that would represent a useful upgrade / replacement?
