1. An intersting read. I'd never looked at your website before, but really enjoyed the whole Basslines section, especially the Weekend Warriors which I miss from BGM now.
2.
Wow, do you remember when Feeder knew how to rock?
The new album is a bit of a return to form IMO
3. Nice one! Good luck with everything.
4. Love it. It's those bloody tubas that need to be melted down and made into door-stops
5. Ovnilab's review can be found here - Rothwell Love Squeeze

PEDAL MODS.

I've done a couple of Boss CS3s with the Monte Allums opto+ mod. If you can solder neatly and have a steady hand it's actually quite therapeutic. Oh, and it transformed the pedal
7. Jeez, I hadn't anticipated the price very well.
8. Two gigs in one weekend... Friday night we'd been invited to open musical procedings at the Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club Rabbit Rally. Beautiful surroundings, good beer, okay sound and an okay set from us. Yesterday we played at the Lounge on the Farm Festival. Played better this time. Managed to draw a couple of dozen folks to the stage we were on in addition to the peeps we'd dragged along with us, most of whom stayed. I got interviewed by the local press. Drank nice beer, ate nice venison and watched the Skints, Bad Manners and Toots and the Maytals on the main stage. A grand day out.
9. But if I had to go "off the shelf" it'd be the 62 RI
10. I'd say the best way (because it will be the way I'm doing it soon) is to source your body and neck from Warmoth, add the pickups, bridge and machineheads of your choice, choose your scratchplate, string retainer and strap buttons/locks, decide whether or not you want ashtrays and get the whole lot assembled by a competent luthier.
11.
Might chart it out as I need to get my 'charting ears' working again. Will PM you if I do.
If you do, could I have a copy too please?
12. White Man In Hammersmith Palais. Two runs through and I'd got it. Thought it would be trickier.
13. Mono-Syllabic Girl - NOFX - very short, surprisingly tricky
14. Not really a gig video, but gig footage cut together over one of our studio tracks
15.
I love these! they are such a nice little rig... JHust one thing tho.. they go for 500 new???... whats your best price man?
Where have you seen a head and 2 cabs for £500 new? Edit: and where's my tax rebate when I need it? want this rig badly
16. I've only got a cheap amp, an Ashdown EB180-12. It's fine for rehearsals and the little venues I play with the originals band (the covers band I always DI through the singer's PA). I'd be willing to lend it if asked nicely, but no-one ever has. More often than not, someone else on the bill will see what I've got and offer to let me use their rig instead
17. the diagonal black/white split was a factory colour-scheme. I remember them in my local music shop.
18. I had one of the originals. Perfectly giggable for pub gigs. Bloody heavy though.
19. Only done it once, about 25 years ago when I was really hammering the strings to make up for only having a little combo to play through.
20. Another one who likes a nice birdseye maple neck! Not a fan of qulited or flame bodies..... Always remind me of '80s Super-Strats
21.
You look like Simon Pegg !!! HOW AWSOME HA

i was waiting for that, i told him that a while back

Before we went to the gig I said to my missus 'Nic's band are on early so I wanna leave soon' She said 'Who's Nic?' I said 'The guy we were talking to at Tunbridge Wells' *blank face* ' We were out there for about an hour' *blank face' ' The one who looks like Simon Pegg', "OHHH!!!"
SSSSHHHHHH! Playing bass is what I do to get away from the media spotlight. Please don't blow my cover
22. No Highway One? Not that it matters to me - I'll take a precision please
23.
Mine are both headed, no deadspots..
Cheers Rich
