  1. Past hour
  2. Nice example but I had to double take on the price. It’s probably a bit more than I’d expect for a 3tsb 66.
  3. Thanks!! I tried everything and couldn’t find this.
  4. I got this last year from Bass Direct. Its about 7 months old and only really used on my desk at home plus about 3 rehearsals. Ive been using my GP-5 and now GP-50 so much this is just gathering dust. im also eyeing up the new Bass Driver Elite so this will not really get used anymore. Works perfectly and has never missed a beat. I've never used the original PSU so thats still in the box as it came, along with all the paperwork/sticker etc. Looking for £180 posted Track24 to mainland UK, or £175 for collection in central London. You are welcome to come and try it, but as i live in a flat it will have to be at a very low volume, or with headphones.

  5. The MXR Bass Auto Q is an auto-wah / envelope filter based on the sound of the Cry Baby pedal, this one designed specifically for bass guitar. The Bass Auto Q features adjustable sensitivity and blendable LFO signal. Condition is decent, the case has some chipped paint (around the base plate), just dusty otherwise. Everything works as it should. All it's original knobs present and correct. Seen these listed on ebay for a fair bit more than this and in roughly this condition. this is the broken battery clip, for some reason the battery hatch doesn't stay shut by itself either hence the velcro fix by a previous owner from these parts, does the job Pedal is in Hope Valley (S33 6SB) if you're passing for local collection or I can do local delivery, also happy to do UK postage.
  6. Another cool pedal I've had sat around a while, sounds great, I just don't use dirt in my current setup so while it sounds really good it's just sat in a cupboard and might as well be getting used by someone. Condition is excellent / looks new to me. Here's someone doing a demo of one: Pedal is in Hope Valley (S33 6SB) if you're passing for collection or I can do local delivery, also happy to do UK poastage.
  7. Great sounding preamp/di, I'm having a clear out of things I don't use enough to warrant keeping and I already have a clean preamp/di that does the job for me as well as a couple of colourful sounding pre/di pedals so I really don't need this sat around as it may as well be with someone who'll be using it. It does that lovely Eden clean crisp sound, punchy and lovely. Comes with a power supply (don't think it's the original one) but I used with my voodoo lab power supply as that does 15v. Condition is very very good. Pedal is in Hope Valley (S33 6SB) if you're passing for collection or I can deliver locally, happy to post within UK.
  8. "Fender 2008 American Standard P bass"😁 Very classy bit of kit and a real bargain. If anyone starting out ever fancies a P-Bass, just skip the Squiers, the MIM's, and anything else in between and go straight to an American Standard 😊 Will save you in the long run and you'll get a true classic and a bass that will last. IMHO. GLWTS
  9. Virtually new Fender Bassman 100 cover from Roqsolid, i got it to use while my flightcase was being manufactured so was only used briefly. Its a little dusty but will wipe. They're about £65 new + shipping Cover is in Hope Valley, happy to post within UK, probably gonna cost a tenner just for how small it doesn't fold up.
  10. a great bass head Let me know if you decide to part with the hdn112 cab my man
  11. An excellent 6/12-stage phaser, being a clone of the revered Moogerfooger 103. I’ve just received a brand new exemplar from Andertons today as a replacement for one I bought a few months ago that had a loose connection. I’m on a drive to raise money due to unemployment so don’t even want to put this on my board. As yet I haven’t even opened it. I’m happy to leave it unopened or to open to test and photograph for the buyer (once payment is received) if desired. Price includes recorded UK postage. Stock photo for illustrative purposes.

  12. Chance to get it back for what you sold yours for, with the lovely tube you recommended too.
  13. I love this thing. The only reason I’m listing this is because I’d like to get the newest version. That is a lot more expensive so I need to recoup some funds towards it, otherwise I’d keep this too and use on a second board. In excellent condition, with a few cosmetic marks as pictured. No original box, power supply or MIDI breakout cable though (which is how it came to me). Will of course be packaged securely for postage.

  14. Anyone spotted this stunner from Bass Bros? Seems a reasonable price too for a 66? Very clean https://bassbros.co.uk/product/1966-fender-precision-bass/
  15. I have in the past put together websites and they took me waaaaay longer than I thought they would as I'd underestimated the work thats goes into them. 👍 Overall I think its a well laid out site, easy to access the info you want. I'm in agreement with the above that there could be more "personalisation" within the text to show you're not another faceless Chinese corporation. The only other thing I would comment on is the workshop photos could do with replacing as to me they don't give me the vibe of "high tech, precision manufacturing" but more "made in a shed" (especially the one on the custom order page with boxes of rubbish). Good luck. 👍
  16. I still think this is a bargain, though personally I'd want to replace the fingerboard. Apart from that, you'd have a great instrument to learn on. Sadly, I too am relatively skint (and would probably have to completely reorganise furniture downstairs, which might cause some minor ructions!).
  17. Ivor Mairants has never been a bass focused shop but is one of the old grandees of the Soho music shop scene. Just had an email from their mailing list saying that they are closing down after trading for over 60 years. Not part of Denmark Street but tucked up a side street off Oxford Street nearby, it was one I always popped into for a look any time I was in the area and having an idle browse. Retail is a tough old biz these days and so I’m not surprised that a small, independent shop like that can’t keep going. That’s 21st C commerce. Still a shame when I look back at what the area was like back in the 80s when I first started visiting.
  18. Fantastic strait forward transaction with Stu. Great communication fast payment an absolute pleasure to deal with.
  19. Tomorrow night, Nine Lives at the Balaclava in Fraserburgh.
  20. Or use a resistor ladder and just one pin set to a2d mode.
  21. Double booked for tomorrow... asked to play at 7 instead, but other band has pulled out. It's an hour away and my mate has been learning the songs to dep guitar so glad it will be straightforward.

    MM Stingray 62

I bought an MXR blacked out envelope filter from Mick - quick comms, pedal exactly as described, well packaged and next day delivery. Trade with confidence. Many thanks 👍
  23. I had no idea Bunde (can't do umlauts on this keyboard, unfortunately) was German for fret. I used to live near the town called Bunde in the eastern region of NRW, back in the day. Anyway, bass looks great, good luck with the sale!
  24. Well that’s a pretty thing! P pickup and piezo bridge. A rare one, I think… good luck with the sale!
