  1. Past hour
  2. Bizarrely I found that the higher the compression was set the more volume I got, with just a smidge it completely ruined my tone and volume.
  3. EBS 350 amp head. Great legend of an amplifier . Was a backup and now surplus to requirements. Cash on collection only.
  4. If postage ever becomes an option please DM me @Lozz196 and let me know, this would have sold within a week if it had been I think
  5. A set of the above, fit Mexican Fenders. Price includes postage in UK.
  6. Yeo the onboard Ashdown compressor ruins your sound and cuts volume. Not hearing many say they like it so as mentioned a low cost pedal out front is better. Might be partly why you’re not seeing enough input gain
  7. A set of the above. Fit Japanese Fender Mustang basses so prob most MIJ/CIJ Fenders (HVAC tape currently around shaft as recommended by Hipshot for a tighter fit). One key slightly different as shown, with the screw at the end, but all genuine USA Hipshots. Price includes postage in UK.
  8. One of the above, in good condition aside from slight wear on the back of the top horn near the strap button, and holes on the headstock where I fitted a Hipshot triple retainer - happy to put it back on if required. Weighs 7.7lbs. Comes in a generic gig-bag. No shipping, collection/meet up only.

  9. You won't go wrong with an Hercules Auto Grab.
  10. One of the above, in good condition aside from slight dents on the top horn near the strap button, and holes on the headstock where I fitted a Hipshot triple retainer - happy to put it back on if required. Weighs 6.8lbs. Comes in a generic gig-bag. No shipping, collection/meet up only.

  11. One of the above, in good condition. Versatile little amp, from cleans to classic AC/DC to Metallica it does it all, and in a much more portable format than a Marshall 100w valve amp! Comes boxed, with manual, leads, and carry-case. Price includes postage in UK.

  12. Satin necks. Matching headstocks on a bass with a maple neck. Amp and Cab overhangs. People who call a bass a guitar. People who call me a guitarist. Single cut basses.
  13. I foolishly sold the Effectrode PC-2A and the Grace Alix and then really missed them, luckily I was able to buy them back for what I sold them for so, apart from a trip up and down the A1. they are back and sounding lush...
  14. Between that and the "Who Sell Out" cover, one has to wonder if that was someone in the band's thing. No judgment from me, just entertained...
  15. I thought I’d ask Chat GTP this question and it said it was having a bit of trouble getting the answer. It did however suggest listening to the part in question and: - 1. Slow down the playback (many music players support this). 2. Muddle through on your bass or keyboard, testing different notes to find the right match. 😂😂😂 So, just like we’ve always done things in the time-honoured tradition of transcribing tracks.
  16. “And this one is called misty…and my fender, the old girl…I name her Rita” ”ok bollocko, here’s my bass…black Gibson ripper and orange Yamaha…”
  17. U OK hun? I have a cheese grater called Pierre. Baked beans are delicious and doubly so due to the rampant post bean consumption guffage, what's not to like? Apart from our very own resident Egyptian deity, obvs. *raises hand* Because the hours it would take to simply summon you on the oijua board make communication on points such as this counter productive. Fair.
  18. Bought a Squier CV Mustang bass from Lozz - We agreed to meet halfway which meant a nice stop at a service station along the M4. Money and bass was promptly exchanged, the bass was exactly as described then we then proceeded to talk all things bass/gigs/music for over an hour! An absolute gent to deal with 🤩
  19. A great playing vintage Fender - if you make me a reasonable offer I may even say yes!
  20. What is the best bass stand? I've tried a few over the years. I like them to fold up, have a neck support (I had an instrument crash off one which just had the body support) and is light. The closest I got was called Ultimate although it was nicked from a gig.
