  2. Up for sale is my great little Epifani UL 110. 250w 8Ohms. 11.6 Kg Bought for home use but has been to a couple of gigs as an extension cab to my old TKs 112 I had at the time. Easily powerful enough on it's own for acoustic stuff etc. Good overall condition. One of the bottom corner protectors is a bit damaged but it dose its job and the carpet is going a bit bobbly in places. Collection from St Helens. Not sure on postage yet as I'm pretty low on packaging and suitable boxes. Could possibly meet up if not too far.
  3. Yea I didn’t realise till I checked the history..it was originally antique tobacco..it’s a pro series made in Korea 2010 👍
  4. That's quite the transformation. Had someone else changed the colour? It looks factory Warwick spec now! 😎👍
  5. 30 years to the month since her iconic album came out! Great song and tbf not defined by the bass line, but what a great bass line by Flea!!
  6. Fab pedal! Good demo: If I had money I'd be buying this!
  7. Recently brought this from this parish but its no longer needed. The price includes UK postage.

  9. I am actually gonna be in Edinburgh on Sunday 29th. It would probably fit in the car if you’re serious?
  10. Always happy to help a bass brother get back on his feet... All the best @lee650 onwards and upwards mate 👊
  11. This was bought recently from this parish but is no longer needed. The price included UK postage.
  12. Tiny overdrive, particularly good at low gain thick bass overdrive tones that retain the low end. Very small consumption (manual says 6 mA) and according to Mooer: "very small and exquisite" 😄 It also says, about its 2-mode operation: *HP: High peak mode, boost up the bottomend, when increasing distortion by Drive knob, you will get more volume and a slight increase in high-mid range (around 3.5KHz) *LP: Low peak mode, color up extreme little to the original sound, very nice for clean boosting The pedal is in excellent condition. Price includes delivery (UK).
  13. Up for sale is my BH250. Bought from here some time ago for home use and backup. It's been great paired up with my Epifani 110. Fair condition and comes with a Gator carry bag. Price includes UK postage.
  14. Bass Big Muff, very good condition, just a bit dusty.
  15. Bought this corvette as a back up ….just couldn’t fall for the post box red so I was going to move it on ..it did play and sound awesome ..so I spent Sunday morning stripping it back and waxing it Jacobean oak ..literally cost me my time and that’s it ..looks like it was originally antique tobacco it’s as ash wood and think I’ve been quite lucky with the grain ..🤟
  16. Mine weighs at around 3.9kgs, I took it to a wedding gig in Grantham this weekend and survided a 30 song setlist with no shoulder pain. I've mostly used the P or the J tone only which covered most of my needs. I love the feel of the neck of this thing, rounded on the edges, not too chunky not too thin. I played comfortably on that 2 sets we played. I tend to roll of the tone knob a tad, it's the sweet spot for me. I bought the instrument from BassDirect without having tried any Dingwalls at all! Sure it is expensive as some people say for an Indonesian made instrument, but I've no regrets. Also like what they did to the pickguard holes on the knob and jack. Just remove the screws and no need to remove any washers on the knob and jack. Now, I'm just looking forward to put more miles on this instrument!
  17. I have 2x very early 210s, If memory serves they are serial numbers 9 and 10. Alex sent me the labels after I got the cabs, and I put them on myself. Mine had really bad Tolex peel issues around the access panel on the back and had to take them back to Alex twice. After the second time, I have not had any issues since. When I was a kid I had my own issues with being a bit addicted to peeling wallpaper in my bedroom. The old woodchip had started to come away in places, and I would pull on it. I don't know how I thought my parents would ever not notice the ever-growing patch of bare wall next to my bed, but I just had to keep pulling at it. I wonder if this is what happened here......

  20. Just bought a A&H mixer from Donald. Brilliant transaction! It came next day delivery complete with original packaging, cable and manual. Excellent comms and a great guy to deal with. He couldn't have been more helpful, a real credit to Basschat. Thanks Donald
  21. Well, on fretless, it jolly well does. 🍿🍿
  22. Carlsbro don’t make beer, but if they did you’d pour it down the drain.
  23. This is an incredible phaser and there is probably a very, very small number in the UK and likely Europe!
  24. I had a bass made for me a few years ago (still my main bass), but apart from that, I've never bought a new instrument - but this one ticks a lot of boxes for me. I won't get a chance to try one, unless Guitar Guitar decide to stock them in Edinburgh, but even then, I'd prefer to buy from Bass Direct. So thinking sensibly, how has the weight been on the ones people have tried or bought? Would it benefit from a preamp or is it versatile enough as-is? What colour is the best, I don't really like the sunburst, but the rest are all lovely.
