    Well it looks like I will be able to come as the tummy tuck (AKA hernia repair) has worked well. At a recent Bash, I was given a load of faulty cables. I am in the middle of going through them and repairing them. If Mike lets me, I will take a small table and display them to sell. They will not have the lifetime guarantee I give with my bespoke cables, but they will be good spare cables and I will guarantee them for a year. There are instrument (2-6m) and speaker cables (0.5-1.2m). Where the current connectors are usable, I will reuse them, where they are not, I will replace them. Most of the instrument cables will have a straight plug on one end and a right-angled plug on the other. The speaker cables will have SpeakOns on both ends, either Neutrik, or Rean. Prices from £5-10. Of course, I will still be taking orders for any special cable requirements you have in the meantime.

    Andertons do an EastCoast Mustang/Precision short scale for about that money.     In my other band which is not not exclusively 80's, we do Nik's 'Wouldn't It Be Good'. I don't know what it is about that song, but I just love playing it and it always gets people singing along.

    A total of 1246 Anniversary basses made. With regards to the fretboards, 713 were Maple, 477 Rosewood, 21 lined fretless and 35 unlined fretless.

    Could be a BG250 or something like that? It's a toneprint loaded one, one of the cheaper ones they brought out in the last few years. Agree with you on the abuse, I had a low opinion of Ashdowns from using abused MAGs in rehearsal rooms, but for years now I've been Ashdowns all the way.

When I googled the numbers with ‘Fender’ I didn’t get much but plenty of info on TB i can’t fully see the number on the neck p/up as it’s obscured by the foam but I can see the etched number so it turns out they are ……. The 33746/33753 set used in early AmStands ('95-2000), American Series ('01-'07) Thanks Tony

    Forgive the stupid question but, when I link a course on my tablet to my Rumble 40 aux and plug in headphones, I get a lot of buzz/feedback which is annoying to say the least! There are sometimes when I want to do the course / practise quietly but this is preventing me from doing so. Any help gratefully received! Many thanks and all the best!

    ***PRICE DROP NOW £1300*** 2010 US Stingray, 2EQ, CAR with rosewood board. One of the limited edition 133 basses, full fat ‘ray but with a soft gig bag case instead of a hard shell job. This is in excellent condition with one very minor ding on the top edge, and the pickguard is quite marked but obviously easily replaceable. Comes with a Hipshot D-tuner (long key though instead of short… doh), if you want the original tuner key I’ll chuck it in. I’ve also replaced the pickup with a Nordstrand MM4.2, which sounds flippin’ great. She’s quite heavy (10lb) but with a decent wide strap it feels ok. ***EDIT*** now comes with the option of a Warwick Rockbass semi-rigid case - photos added. Loathe to post this but can at buyer’s (insured) expense, or can meet in person at either Portsmouth, Southsea, Southampton or Lymington (I’m on the I.O.W.)

    Thank you kindly 😼👍. Will check this out now ! Before I do , I must say that I need to get more symphony x. Imho they blew dream theatre off stage at Wembley in about 2007 ! I have the iconoclast album which I will have to listen to for first time in ages😌
