Forty years ago, when I was forty, I bought a Streamer as I too fell in love with the Warwick sound. When I bought my six stringed instruments it was consigned to the instrument cupboard. I recently gave it to one of my doctors as I no longer had a use for it.

This amp doesn’t have Speakon outputs so be careful with the amp-to-speaker cables. Like Dad3353 says, if you’re going to do any damage it’s likely to be this end of the system. -

headless101 started following Status 40th Limited Edition Series 2000 - Feeler

7800£ / 9000€ Due to certain circumstances and health issues I'm considering to sell this very special Status Series 2000 Limited Edition. The 40th Limited Edition Series 2000 was limited to only 18 basses. This is one of them, and it is the only one with the amber transparent lacquer. The amber is hard to see as it is very dark in general. Bought new in 2023. Played only very little at home, as it was just to valuable for me to be played. So it's in mint condition. Of course with all the documentation and the original Status case. I’m not interested in trades.

I remember her voice being described as having warm chocolate poured over you. Wonderful description. -
Yet another great Loom from John - fitted it in minutes, but then I thought there was a problem with one of the pots. Sent a ‘help’ PM to John to which he replied to quickly with his expert advice that from my description of the problem he’d sussed that one of the pickups was possibly out of phase, so a quick switch around of the wires & ‘Boomshanka’ - Thanks John, ‘Outstanding’👍

How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?
Woodinblack replied to nilorius's topic in General Discussion
Yes, its a district of Liverpool. -
I found that learning and practicing scales and forcing myself initially to always play E and A on the 5th fret made it easy, easier than 4 to be honest as you can use the same chord shapes across the fretboard rather than going up and down. The lower notes are useful if you have a decent PA and the sound engineer rolls off the low end for everyone else. Finishing a song on on a rumbling low C or D is always good.

Built this last night and slept late just playing it. Sounds glorious! MXR bass synth in the fx loop. Using a Mono Lite Pedal board

The pickups will make a huge difference in the sound, with each bass type rather famed for how you’re describing the sound. Putting heavier gauge strings on the Spector will make it beefier but you should retain the articulation.
