  4. Great bass and a great price as well. Wish I had a use for this Paul but just can’t justify it at the moment. GLWTS mate.
  5. Feel free to make offers, I'm having something of a gear clear-out at present, and if you haven't used one of these before, they are extremely useful practice tools, and with a little bit of experimentation are also good for live and recording 👍
  6. Slimming down my studio gear at present, aiming to only have what I need rather than a lot of spare capacity! This has been very well looked after and has probably ad no more than 200hours use (still has the plastic stuff on the display!). I only use it for tracking as I use a UAD Satellite to manage plugins while mixing. Come with all original packaging/documentation. Happy to courier or for collection in person in Whitstable or London Also moving on a pair of Towsend Labs/UAD L22 Sphere modelling mics here

  7. I'd consider trade/PX for a high quality bass amp, ideally large (I'm no fan of micro or lightweight). Mesa always my preference but anything in that top-end gear space could work 👍 I'm also moving on my UAD Apollo X4 interface here
  8. I'm going to need a slightly bigger room and am going to be building a cabin around it, or possibly a cabin that is it, so I'm selling this once again. If you're podcasting, or doing a Prince and recording masterpieces instrument by instrument, this is a bloody nice unit. Big enough footprint for a Jazz kit, sufficient height for a 3/4 double bass, low-noise fan and lights in the mix also 👍
  9. Wishing (I Had a Photograph of You) - A Flock of Seagulls
  10. I don't think f-ck all can be four, so it must be zero, and the same as sod all. Just noticed the alliteration: Square root: Sod, Five: F-uck. At the risk of a complete thread derail and the wrath of @scrumpymike*, are there any other expressions for nothing that have equivalent additions? The wrath of Mike is a terrible thing - you are denied any crumble!
  11. Greene King have been doing that for years , they had a really odd way of doing it IIRC. i had to set up an account with a payment portal , invoice them and wait , i think the 2.5% was taken by the portal. im sure most of these cashless methods are to keep the staff from getting near any business cash.
  12. Picture This - Blondie
  13. Best amp I’ve ever played. Can’t afford, probably don’t need, but boy I wish I could get it! GLWS
  14. …in the Photograph. Stereos
  15. Local Boy Chops Wood - Donovan
  16. This bass has now sold! (deposit paid, just being held until collection)
  17. It does sound fantastic! Nice high-mass brass Warwick bridge on it too!
  18. Bury the hatchet. NMA
  19. Damn. That's exceptionally beautiful
  20. No, not me - I'm not playing with anyone any more!
  21. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if there was routing under the pickguard, for active electronics and a battery, probably installed years back. The guard is likely original. As @MrFingers already pointed out, the nail holes suggest the body to be original. This could be a really great ‘player’s bass’ (I.e. vintage but not collectible) at the end of the day.
