I've never understood why some folks see Adam Clayton as an inferior bass player. To anyone who understands the subtleties of the instrument he's a very good bass player. He knows how to create a hook with his bass parts- something that eludes a lot of virtuoso players- and when U2 were at their best his bass lines and gritty tone used to really drive the songs. There's an awful lot to like about how he plays the bass.

Did not break out of the prototype phase for now, but learned a lot. For example, I need to be much better with the drill so the boards can actually align. Need to move some stuff around, add 0.5-1mm here and there... getting there slow 😅 Having a lot of hope for the socketed testing board to try some more stuff!

There is no bevel visible, and it appears very thin. I think this is a proper anodized guard.

I have a TC BH800 with a PJB C8L, both in red. Looks far to posh for the way I dress. It's a shame you can't get the bigger PJB stuff in white like their small combos, they should also do blue tolex to match their 800w head. Aquilar and Purple Chili used to do cool coloured tolex, actually a bit surprising more manufacturers don't go for it really as they look cool and stand out.
