  2. Just seen an EBMM SUB 5 on Ebay just now,£2,352.72 or best offer. The "lesser" Stingray with the textured body and aluminium pickguard that I've seen go for as low as £550 or thereabouts.
  3. I did the same, still got a couple. Used one last week between my Hartke amp and old 4x10. The orange cable was easy to find in a bag of leads too.
  4. The comments on the Loog are interesting. I am neither a parent nor a music teacher, so these practical considerations had not really occurred to me. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Sold just yesterday. Thanks.
  6. I’ve never had a Canadian one but what do you mean with the tone control being weird?
  7. Pricedrop to 1300€ £ 1100

  9. Yes I will be selling the whole board. Listings to follow!
  10. As they have round cores I would say there's a bit mellower than the D'Ads. Watch this video, from 1:56 to 2:42 and then again from 6:49 to 7:35, which might help.
  11. I pulled this as the new price has dropped below £500 now. However, on reflection I think £600 for the amp in mint condition, plus the bluetooth adapter, footswitch and carry bag is still a good deal, so it's back up again.
  12. Looks wonderful - if I could justify bringing in another steed and didn't have a tot on the way I'd be driving over... All the best with the sale and sorry about the rubbish circumstances for you! Tobie
  13. Vintage Bose 802 Series II XLR speaker cable wired to Speakon NL4FX at the amp. I'm going XLR pin 2 (+ve) to Speakon +1 and XLR pin 1 (-ve) to Speakon -1 right? Shouldn't be using +2 and -2 at all.
  14. OP is an edge case. He runs IEM sometimes, but doesn't own a preamp or a DI except for what is aboard the Rumble combo. When going IEM he has no use of the combo speaker, it's so much unwanted noise, but he can't run zero volume without also cutting the DI output to zero. Capiche?
  15. I think I remember that tune, was it the April 2017 comp?
  16. Enjoy - it always went down well when we did it in one of my old bands! 😎👍
  17. Hot In The City - Billy Idol
  18. Great keyboard, recently replaced the pitch wheel as it had started to drift. Perfect now though. All in great working condition. Collection from High Wycombe or meet up preferred, but I can look in to postage if needed.

  20. Does this model have the same weird tone control setup that the Canadian Super P has? I had to replace the circuit on mine as I couldn't get on with it.
  21. Version 1 is affected by the gain only but the newer versions are affected by both
  22. Not quite, unless I read it wrong...
  23. My Peavey 1995 Foundation Fretless. Fantastic sound. Bought to remind myself why I don't play fretless and now for sale 🙂 It's not that I can't play it, it's that it just doesn't suit my style of playing
  24. Mercury Rising - Sting
  25. Two from Queen spring to my mind … The Invisible Man and Dragon Attack Two from Def Leppard … Man Enough and Rock On The first is an original, the second is not. It's a cover of a David Essex song. Mark
  26. Isn't that what I said?? Sine peak volts X to -X Square X/X Power twice as much for the square. Sometimes I feel I am losing my mind.
