  3. Thanks, Terry – much appreciated, mate. It's too good to be a backup!
  4. That's an absolute beauty! I'm thinking of selling my Vigier 5 string and a few other bits, love the Vigier but I just miss having a Warwick 5 string so much. If I manage to get the funds together in good time I'd be very interested!
  5. Nothing helps when you start singing.
  6. Origin Effects DCX Bass Excellent condition, with box and paperwork. £190 + £10 postage via special delivery.

  9. I've used this wireless for over 5 years for every gig, rehearsal and home practice, and can honestly say it's never put a foot wrong. The unit is powered by a normal 9v pedal supply, and when you plug the receiver in it syncs and charges. Has velcro on the bottom. Price includes UK shipping.
  10. Crazy Fork You - Mucky Madge
  11. Amazing little groove box that's very simple to learn but has a ton of features. USB C powered and has an internal battery for making tunes on the go. Price includes UK postage. More info here https://novationmusic.com/products/circuit-rhythm
  12. Great keyboard, recently replaced the pitch wheel as it had started to drift. Perfect now though. All in great working condition. Collection from High Wycombe or meet up preferred, but I can look in to postage if needed.

  13. Origin Effects Cali 76 Bass compressor compact Excellent condition, with box and paperwork. £190 + £10 postage via special delivery.
  14. My ususal playing time is 10-11pm, so I use mutes and plug in to a headphone amp. That doesn't help when I start singing though.
  15. I use a Puma 900 with a Bareface Super Twin or a Schroeder 12PL, I did have some trouble at one point but I think that was down to a bad speakon cable/pub electrics not 100% sure. Love it, super clean and no hope of running out of volume!
  16. It would be a bit impractical to have effects pedals powered by IEC connectors. Wall warts should be reliable as long as they're looked after - wrapping the lead round the plug is a good way to damage the lead.
  17. I'm going to need a slightly bigger room and am going to be building a cabin around it, or possibly a cabin that is it, so I'm selling this once again. If you're podcasting, or doing a Prince and recording masterpieces instrument by instrument, this is a bloody nice unit. Big enough footprint for a Jazz kit, sufficient height for a 3/4 double bass, low-noise fan and lights in the mix also 👍
  18. I'd consider trade/PX for a high quality bass amp, ideally large (I'm no fan of micro or lightweight). Mesa always my preference but anything in that top-end gear space could work 👍 I'm also moving on my UAD Apollo X4 interface here
  19. Feel free to make offers, I'm having something of a gear clear-out at present, and if you haven't used one of these before, they are extremely useful practice tools, and with a little bit of experimentation are also good for live and recording 👍
  20. Thanks, I will try using the Concert amp. I tried using the Studio Amp, which is meant to be based on a Markbass amp, but I find it too harsh and bit cold sounding.

  22. Cuts Like A Knife - Bryan Adams
  23. I'm a huge QOTSA fan and never knew Josh was in to bikes. That's another hero point then! I've always wanted a Guzzi as well. Not had one yet but a V100 Mandello could be next. Josh named my youngest daughter, we saw QOTSA in 2011 while my wife was heavily pregnant (we had seats) and the first song they played was Go With The Flow so she's called Flo. The second song was Regular John so we had an option if it had been a boy.
  24. Fascinating and terrifying at the same time. Cheapens everything, doesn't it?
