I did a swap with Paddy last week - my Flanger (ooh, Missus) for his MB super booster. It ws a pleasure to do business with him - highly recommended!

Me too, still not arrived

Don't know if this is of interest to anyone, but they're knocking 300 euros off the price of the STU Amp 1000 head on their site as they're discontinuing the model. Link here: https://www.markstore.it/product/mb-stu-amp-1000/ I haven't checked out shipping costs, etc., but I doubt if they add up to more than the saving! Of course, you'd need a plug adapter for use in the UK.

PRICE NOW DROPPED TO £300. Easily the best speaker cabinet I have ever used: am downsizing to lighter Genz Benz cabs as I rarely play live now. The Eden D210XST Cab is loud enough to be heard and yet still small enough to be used at home or in a small studio. For those players who need a portable, high-performance rig with even more low end than the XLT, Eden has designed a 2 x 10" cabinet for their XST woofers. Punchy and clean, the D210XST produces a full and clear tone through its two 10" speakers. It's excellent for delivering articulate bass lines with volume. This 2 x 10" cabinet handles more power than many 4 x 10" cabs on the market. The D210XST offers huge bottom end with its cleverly-designed tuned and ported cabinet construction and speaker selection: the low end is full but tight, the mids are open and well-defined and the highs are clear and crisp. Durable build quality makes this ideal for touring and live performances. All Eden enclosures are constructed with 5/8" thick void free plywood with full dado and rabbet jointing. Massive internal bracing prevents vibration and keeps the sound deep, tight and clear. Exclusive Eden Cast Frame loudspeakers and Eden Cast Bell low distortion tweeter horns are designed, hand-built and tested in their own factory in the USA. Very Good condition. Comes with an official Eden cover. Power Handling: 500 Watts Impedance: 8 Ohms Speakers: 2x10" Eden-spec Eminence EC1060XS speakers Tweeter: Eden Cast Bell low distortion Crossover: 3.5KHz @ 18dB Frequency Response: 30Hz - 14KHz Sensitivity: 103dB SPL Connections: Parallel 1/4 Inch and Speakon Dimensions: 23" w x 18" h x 18.5" d Weight: 59lbs / 26.8kg NOW ONLY £300. Collection from East London preferred, although happy for buyer to arrange a courier.

Can the bass flyrig v2 emulate the BDDI blend control?
Tech21NYC replied to dave_bass5's topic in Effects
When you run the Bass Driver into the front end of an amp you are stacking preamps and that changes everything which is why we recommend setting the amp on the neutral side if the Bass Driver will be used as an always on effect. It would probably make more sense to add a chorus with the Bass Driver. -

Been on a bit of a run of completing DIY pedals lately. Decided to give them their own board for now, spurred on by the power supply gratefully received from @rwillett! R->L: - SHO + Switchable clipping diode 1 based on Jptr Jive circuit. - EQD Zoar clone using PCB from Five Cats - Stripboard version of Fuzzrocious Ram the Manparts, tweaked to make it more usable. - BDI with Mids Mod. Think I need to branch out beyond drive/distortion for my next build!

How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?

I should explain that most of the band (there are 13 in total) are not dedicated musicians - it's a weekend hobby for them and so anything other than 'song-stop-song-stop' is out of their comfort zone. Like you, in previous bands we've always tried to grab the attention of the audience with a few back to back before doing any audience interaction. I think it makes for a solid intro, sets the scene and lets people know that we mean business. But its new to the Hulla band and to be fair everyone has got it. I have 24 bars before I come in and then it's non-stop for the rest of the songs. The drummer, BL, guitarist and I are the core throughout and it's working well. 😀 -

I had a nearly new Mocha P bass bk in 77. Those new pictures with the crazing, colour tone etc show the body and neck are prob legit but as we've already deduced the entire thing is a hack job. Pity. If its a nice weight then its prob a nice player.
