  1. Past hour
  2. Yes I will be selling the whole board. Listings to follow!
  3. As they have round cores I would say there's a bit mellower than the D'Ads. Watch this video, from 1:56 to 2:42 and then again from 6:49 to 7:35, which might help.
  4. I pulled this as the new price has dropped below £500 now. However, on reflection I think £600 for the amp in mint condition, plus the bluetooth adapter, footswitch and carry bag is still a good deal, so it's back up again.
  5. Think this looks fab, unfortunately out of my range right now so have a bump on me
  6. "Always on" version of the famous Boss tuner pedal. Takes up less space on your pedalboard. Pretty much mint condition. Price includes postage. Stock image below for now.

    UAD Apollo live

Old thread I know, but if going this route I wouldn't use anything but the Apollo. It can do all your signal processing, so no need for the Noble or pedals. It has a 2nd input that you can use for a mono monitor mix, and it can feed your signal to FOH as well as feed your IEMs (are the main outputs separate from the HP out?) Neat all in one rig!
  8. As has been said by others, I gig because I love playing live music. I love the camaraderie of a band on stage (the 'us vs the world' vibe) and some of the funniest and most enjoyable moments I've had with bands have been with friends on stage or in the studio. I've never lost the buzz I get from a successful gig or a good performance. I'm fortunate not to need the money (although it funds my GAS) and the current band I'm in plays solely for charity, which gives me another little buzz when we do the end-of-year distribution accounts. I've learnt so much from other, better musicians. In the early days I developed a self confidence which I was able to take back to other parts of my life. I'd like to think I've brought some fun to other people along the way.
  9. Just a quick post gig report, went with a rode m3 on a stand in front of the bass, the player had borrowed the bass from somewhere so that seemed like the better option. It sounded pretty good thought the pa and luckily it was a small band as the hall wasn't that big either. Every one had a good time and I was gifted a very nice bottle of wine which made my evening very pleasant indeed. Thank you for all the advice. Matt
  10. thanks man 🙏
  11. I’ve got a Rusty Box on the way as I couldn’t pass it up. I’m interested in whether people use these as an always on preamp or a drive pedal? in the case of the former, are you going into an effects return or similar? Essentially making that the sound of your amp. If you’re using as a drive pedal, how do you find it? cheers
  12. I'd message them to find out what sort of screw it is and then have a look on eBay.
  13. The Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp - George Harrison
  14. San Quentin - Nickleback
  15. No Scrubs - TLC
  16. Does anyone here has experiences with the Darkglass tone capsule preamp? For the bass I’m building right now I’m gonna use a Lace Aluma bass Barr pickup (at the stingray position) and the Darkglass preamp looks quite interesting to me.
  17. Folsom Prison Blues - Johnny Cash
  18. If it’s mainly reverse delay you’re after, even the more recent Boss delays has reverse. Someone on here is selling a trio of them. The DD7 and DD6 definitely have reverse delay. They’re also handy as basic loopers…
  19. Would you consider selling just the RS212 and the footswitch? Best wishes, Alex
  20. No Problem I’m considered helpful and popular by both of my friends
  21. Is this still available? Bit of a long drive for me, but I'm interested! Best wishes, Alex
  22. TC Electronic Flashback delay has a lot of flexibility. Reasonably cheap second hand.
  23. Thanks so much, @Bagman!
  24. Oooh, that looks nice, shame im skint! GLWTS
