  2. This my go to compressor and always on, simple to use without colouring the sound. GLWTS
  3. I don't think the Chickenbackers use SD pickups - they're cheapos.
  4. Got a lot of interest in the neck. But I’d prefer to sell this whole, before I part out. £250 collected or meet up or plus £20 pp
  5. I hope not too many people turn up expecting the original event today… All others going to the reorganised stuff, have fun!

  9. It’s a T- Rex ToneTrunk 56 😉 in the last years I changed a lot of configuration and the points for cable ties always come handy.
  10. YoB in the correct colours... I'm going to have to move some stuff on pronto!
  11. Great keyboard, recently replaced the pitch wheel as it had started to drift. Perfect now though. All in great working condition. Collection from High Wycombe or meet up preferred, but I can look in to postage if needed.

  13. Amazing little groove box that's very simple to learn but has a ton of features. USB C powered and has an internal battery for making tunes on the go. Price includes UK postage. More info here https://novationmusic.com/products/circuit-rhythm
  14. I've used this wireless for over 5 years for every gig, rehearsal and home practice, and can honestly say it's never put a foot wrong. The unit is powered by a normal 9v pedal supply, and when you plug the receiver in it syncs and charges. Has velcro on the bottom. Price includes UK shipping.
  15. Great little cab SIM pedal with XLR out and thru port. Quick and easy to load and recall IRs. Has velcro on the bottom. Price includes UK postage. https://shop.hotoneaudio.com/products/omni-ir?srsltid=AfmBOopi3ArFUFryqxYVEzkyrXBmaNhRmgzbJ5g42nlMt8_bBx44r1P1

    Bricked Helix

I know nothing of Helixes but I managed to brick my Tonex doing a software upgrade. Turns out that connecting a usb hub to it to the upgrade doesn't work and the usb cable needed to be in the mac. Also turned out there are other ways to factory reset things that aren't listed in manuals. Many of these devices have a factory set copy of the firmware on the box that's readonly and you 'just' need to access that and put it back in place. The costs of setting this up is so much cheaper than the return and replace cycle if something goes wrong during an upgrade. I'd be a little surprised if it really did need a motherboard from an upgrade going wrong. Rob

  26. Gig #2 of the weekend was a hot sweaty punk rock all-dayer in Cambridge with Youths. Great venue, loads of bands, lovely promoter and a brilliant sound engineer all made it a joy. We played well I think, had a laugh and lots about half our body weight in sweat. Bass was my first ever bass (Vester jazz) direct into the PA via my Laney Digbeth pre. Sounded ace from where I was. Shoes were some tired black Ernies which are super comfy but maybe a bit heavy for such a hot day - lesson learnt 😄
  27. In the Air Tonight - Phil Collins
