  1. Past hour
  2. Great little pedals with Tube and FET plus the ability to mix the two. Very nice condition and stored in a neat little padded carry case! Postage using an InPost locker service is included in the asking price.

  3. Which is why it’s important that racism is defined officially and legislatively and not left to individuals to arbitrate for themselves.
  4. Your definition i.e the one you are presenting as being the "real" definition. My definition is defined in context of the post, and clearly so. This is an argument about nothing. Except that some people are desperate to accuse other people of racism, either explicitly or implicitly, and that's a very serious allegation to make .
  5. I wouldn't want to be in a band whose music/lyrics or image was of some disposition which really didn't align with mine. Whether or not I could be in a band or associate with someone with opposing or extreme views would depend upon how forcefully they were inclined to forward their views and how accepting they were that mine were different. Another consideration is whether their views expressed or known elsewhere led to any repercussions/issues. Essentially if anyone made me feel uncomfortable or threatened then I'd move on.
  6. Bought for not many pennies as a trial to see if i could get more out of my Ashdown Little Bastard. Looking to sell for what i paid. UK made and slightly scruffy but fully functional. Collection from Bolton or potentially could meet up

  7. I've found it, but it sounds like you don't now need it....
  8. Hey thanks Paddy, I have been looking at that one 😆
  9. This might be worth a look if you’re after a 5st one - they’ll no doubt take that in Trade too Id have thought, although will probably cost you a bit of cash too, which might not be ideal! https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/product/gmr-soundboard-5-string-pre-owned/ I really like GMR basses - that’s a proper bargain for £550!
  10. For sale, Dimarzios latest incarnation of Billy Sheehans signature p bass pickups. Chrome, radiused covers to follow the radius of the fretboard and rounded off edges for comfort. Hot as you'd expect from a pickup designed for Billy. Claimed to be perfect for using with distortion by Dimarzio, I don't so couldn't comment. I have used these for a number of differing gigs and they are by no means a one trick pony. Postage included to UK addresses. Cheers

  11. I'm not sure if you are a lefty like me, or the photo is reversed as sometimes happens online. I've found that lefty's need to be extra-cautious when flipping equipment because when something is gone, it's often really gone. And finding a replacement or even something similar if seller's remorse sets in is very difficult indeed.
  12. Oh no, I’ll back out gracefully. People who think they’re entitled to define something like racism themselves are not going to get me walking into a ban 😃
  13. I imported a Heritage jazz from Japan and it oozes quality. GLWTS.
  14. Yes, they were. It’s where mine came from.
  15. If you're only doing larger gigs, the BT would make sense. If not, the scalable nature of two smaller cabs is helpful, in that you can just carry what you need. Perhaps a Super Compact would be a good choice, rather than another BB3. That would give you the equivalent of a BT.
  16. You generally get what you pay for in these cases, sure the Behringer will give you a signal, but a Rupert Neve Designs will sound better. I had an old BSS box for years, doing exactly what you describe, worked absolutely fine till I ran through an RND box at a mates studio, then I had to change up. Remember, all a DI box does is change the impedance of your bass output to match the mic level required by whatever mic pre-amp you have available, which will have a more significant effect on your tone anyway. Generally, I shy away from the likes of Behringer, and would suggest BSS, Klark Technic, Radial, Palmer etc. but if it's not going to be integral to your rig on a permanent basis, then try the cheaper ones.
  17. Interesting. Not experienced that but also not used one with a huge range of instruments.
  18. I've come back to the fuzzmo after a fair few years, seriously excellent fuzz that does heaps. Think you might regret selling it mate. Glwts
  19. No issues. Any questions, please let me know. Shipping available.
  20. That is my dream situation! I'm currently nosing around Shake Some Action that you suggested too.
  21. I didn’t say my definition, did I? I used the Oxford definition, available online. I find that’s better than inventing my own.
  22. What makes you think your definition is definitive? My definition was in relation to the post I was referring to, nothing else.
  23. It's a sad reality that every time there's an excited-sounding thread title naming a bass brand I'm unfamiliar with, I have a little bet with myself it'll be yet another bloody fake Precision. I probably owe myself around 20 grand by now. Although it'd be 25 if I occasionally took a punt on it being a 15-string singlecut coffee-table.
  24. It’s not my jurisdiction, as I’m sure you’re aware. But it applies to me just as it does you.
