  1. Past hour
  2. Agreed, why on earth are people still making sunturdburst instruments in this day and age??? 😮😢😭🤢🤮
  3. I slightly preferred the adagio sound
  4. I am selling a beautiful bass from the Italian Liuteria Claire Basses&Guitars, model Etna 5, with a Black Korina body, flamed maple neck, ebony fingerboard, spalted wood pickguard, PKV Pickups and electronics.

  5. I can't upload the video if you give me your email I'll send it to you privately
  6. Go to your Profile, select your User ID (top right...) and choose 'My Attachments' from the drop-down list. Hope this helps.
  7. Peavy TXF 410 Cab. 4 Ohms. Used, but classic bomb-proof Peavey cab. Collection only from Ulverston LA12. Any questions please ask
  8. That’s an unbelievably good price for such a fantastic pedal. Good luck with the sale!
  9. I understand your curiosity ! but I'd rather not do it myself since the ramp seems to be securely attached to the body. I mean I don't think there's any problem removing it but perhaps during a routine visit to a luthier ? Thanks for your comment!
  10. Shift Line Olympic MkIIIs boutique Tube preamp/DI/cab sim - one of the best tube preamps available. It sounds absolutely phenomenal, can do a very nice fat clean sound with the gain at about 8 o’clock through to any amount of dirt you need and it always sound amazing in way that you only get with a Tube - perfect for anyone using IEM’s going to FOH Info here: https://shift-line.com/olympic I assume if you’re looking at this you’ll either know what it is or you’ll go and have a look online, but this is the latest Mk3s version, so it can take an SD card and you can change the cab sims etc. This pedal is brand new and un-gigged and has only been used by me for half an hour on the day it arrived. I bought it from @tayste_2000 who got it as a warranty replacement from Shift Line, so it was absolutely brand new, I bought it and played it for 20-30 mins, however I then bought an Anagram. I thought I’d maybe have an analogue and a digital board, but it’s not going to happen, and isn’t necessary really. So I can’t say the pedal is “unused” but it’s as good as - I’ve tested it, then it’s gone back in the box Sounds like this👇🤘 Comes boxed with the leaflets that Shift Line send, price includes DPD Next Day Delivery (as you get a 1 hour time slot for delivery) £325 inc NDD Shipping! Not really looking for trades, but...! I am after a Nordstrand Starlifter preamp/DI (if you have one of these for sale anyway let me know) so I’d take one of those + CMW. I’m also after a P Bass (Fender/FSO - Lakland Skyline, G&L etc, maybe even a Sire) so depending on what it is I could add some money or vice versca, but we’ll see - I’d rather sell it and sort a PB out later on, but whatever - no harm in messaging me
  11. I hope it works out well. All the best.
  12. Take a look at Thomann's offerings as well, they make some very nice bags. The cream of the crop is their Safecase 80, though it's double your budget, but it's also got the Mono Tick style attachable bag, and a decent sized front pocket, plenty of padding, etc. I think there's been videos on Youtube of those bags being tested, chucking them out of 2 story buildings with guitars in and the guitars survive, though I might be misremembering that.
  13. I'm trying to post photos on some listings I have up but every time I do so I get a pop up telling me that the photos exceed the allowed size and have been skipped. I've had this hapen before sometime last year and at some point I had something come up that gave me the opportunity to clear my photo cache on the site. I have no idea how I did it, it was sheer fluke I think. Can anybody tell me how to do this or give me a link to get to the relevant area? Many thanks
  14. I've played one of the Stratocasters and it was a very nice guitar to play.
  15. I've been collecting and pedal-testing solidly since COVID but a lot's been happening this year and, as my priorities are changing, it's time to start letting some of these pedals go, including those that six months ago it would have been unthinkable selling. The Doom 2 is my favourite effect of all-time, and for good reason. It's a brilliant synth-fuzz (so much so that the Darkglass Anagram has made an attempt to capture some of its tonal character) and is also underrated as a more standard fuzz and general drive. This unit is in the Bronze Age finish released as an edition of 111 in March 2025 and is the standard gain model (not the high gain model more attuned to guitars). It's boxed and in essentially as new condition. The price of £360 £300 includes Royal Mail Special Delivery UK postage. I'm not really looking for trades at this point but there are a handful of pedals I'm curious about: COG T-70 v2, Hamstead Subspace GE, Chase Bliss Spectre or Asheville ACV-1 NOS.
  16. I've just seen this, what a beauty 😍 My wallet is so glad it's sold 😄
  17. Those are superb. I have eyed them from afar for years.
  18. Looks like it was left too close to a radiator.
  19. Good luck 🤞
  20. I will include UK postage on this.
  21. Today
  22. I owned the BP1 Compact but didn't like the tone as much as its big brother. The compact has a very different tone with a significant bump in the lower mids.
  23. Does your US Fender actually have 'Made in the USA' on it? I bought my Fender Elite Precision in 2018 and it has 'Made in Corona' stamped on it. Apparently there's not enough of it, actually made in America, to allow it to be stamped 'Made in the USA'. I bought a jack plug input for it, and although it's in a Fender branded bag, and it's the specific part for that bass. it says 'Made in Taiwan' on it. If we stop buying USA Fenders, we'll put just put a lot of far eastern factories out of business.
  24. A sneak peek at the next one that I've so far only done some body preparation on: custom single piece mahogany body Warmoth solid wenge custom neck with Hipshot Ultralite tuners 1990's active Seymour Duncan dual J pickups (3 built in microswitches to select voicing) Darkglass active 3-band circuit NOS Kahler brass bridge A bit more work needed with this one as the neck heel routed/ drilled for some custom neck whereas the Warmoth neck is Fender fit, and wiring will be more complex, but it'll be a nice little winter / spring project
  25. Fair enough 😆 - I note the Adagios are nickel wound, whereas both the HBs and Olympias (which may be one and the same - TBD) are stainless steel.
  26. I've just ordered myself a new 5 string Spector and will need a gig bag for it. The Sire I'm returning has such a nice gig bag included that I'd keep if I could get away with it. The thing I like about it is that when there is no bass in it, it does just flop in to a pile on the floor - it's that semi-rigid EVA style material that retains its shape. Any suggestions for a good gig bag (ideally £60 or thereabouts) of that style? Would need a front pocket that could take a few cables and a mini pedalboard (HX stomp and 1 other small pedal) Looking at this https://thebassgallery.com/collections/gig-bags/products/tgi-extreme-bass-gigbag
