  1. Past hour
  2. Sheer madness!
  3. Had a look. I think there is only one note difference (although it repeats). The differences are Chris plays it 'slower' in terms of bpm and he also includes an E major key signature which I don't. Chris is correct whereas I, as a Jazzer, use accidentals to sharpen and flatten notes. He also does the correct thing in terms of the geography which I don't. I suspect Chris's chart is technically superior to mine but I played them both through and it's all good.
  4. Lovely collection you have there too, @Stub Mandrel. Especially liking your Sire P10. I had the V10 for a while. It was a great bass.
  5. Happy to help, and it's always nice when I stumble across new music that I like. Mark
  6. It’s a great bass super punchy , something new incoming so trying one in one out , which is new concept for me 😁
  7. All great options with not much between them but having a visual loop indicator is a huge benefit!
  8. Finally had the opportunity to play one today. For anyone worried about the pickup sounding like a mudbucker, no need for concern...this thing sounds great, quite a change in tone rolling off the tone knob. I can only imagine how good it would sound with proper strings. The quality of this bass is surprisingly good, even though I expected as much...and damn, it looks even better in real life! Sweetwater has several and they all seem to be in the 9 pound zone, but I'm guessing the one I played was much closer to 8 pounds. Oh yeah, it does both hard rock 𝘢𝘯𝘥 soft rock with equal conviction...I have to believe it'd make a nice bass for that Motown sound, too. Yes, I've played the Fender Vintera version, but no one would ever be able to convince me to buy one of them instead.
  9. Agreed, it's personal abstinence, only stuff for you and you alone counts.
  10. Listened to some demos of these bases and they sound fantastic both passive and active. Seems like serious value for money.
  11. ooh new bass sound to aspire to. Not quite sure why this came up in my watchlist but I like it!
  12. What varies is the electronics of these early models. This one has the original Japanese electronics. Is it of worse quality? Hehe, I think the Japanese electronics are just as good as the others. Even much better.
  13. That's awesome. Thanks so much for doing that. It's smaller than a J and looks closer to the SR, maybe about the same as my A6. I'll make it a point to try one when I'm in the area near the dealer soon.
  14. Today
  15. Ha! That bloody typo from the 1990 press release is still going around then, 35 years later? There is no 'a' in the title (as it refers to the T-Rex song 'Mustang Ford'). Spent years explaining this in interviews!
  16. do you have relevant psu for these?
  17. OK, I give up. How did you do that pickguard??
  18. Selling this pedal which is in immaculate condition, truly "as new".... Bought a few months ago on a whim from Andertons but I soon realised it wasn't for me. Neither unit has even touched the floor, always used on a table top. https://www.andertons.co.uk/digitech-trio-advanced-band-creator-and-looper-pedal/?search_query=trio%2B Complete with a Digitech foot pedal which is almost essential... https://www.andertons.co.uk/digitech-fs3x-footswitch-pedal/ Total price from Andertons is nearly £310. Collection from Hampshire preferred but can post at cost although I haven't a clue what that would be..! Sorry, no cables or power supply included but they are cheap as chips anywhere. Pics available if required, but they will look exactly the same as a new one...
  19. Buying others a gift is definitely allowed. Happy Birthday @Mrbigstuff's relative.
  20. Phew I thought I was out. Popped into a local music store for a strap for a relatives birthday. Realised there wasn’t an exemption for buying others a gift. Then saw straps are allowed so still in 😁
  21. These things are fantastic. Easiest practice tool I've ever had. Can even use your pedalboard with them. Bass > Cable > Pedals > Waza Transmitter.
  22. Furthest South for us at present is Sutton-in-Ashfield... not very South or West. LOL
