For sale, my mint condition X32 Producer. Just under 2 years old and bought by me from Andertons, it's been flight cased from new. I used it at home to learn digital desks and then did a few rehearsals plus about 10 gigs before I upgraded to a bigger desk. I've kept it as a backup, but am now looking to upgrade my main desk again, and therefore this is surplus to requirements. All faders, encoders and buttons, ins and outs working perfectly. Will be restored to factory settings before it goes, and am more than happy to spend some time with the buyer to show them how it all works if needed. It's a great first desk if upgrading from analogue and a nice compact size for gigging, but also ideal for a home studio setup, or for an IEM rig. It can be rack mounted and the rack ears will be included. All the specs are available on the Behringer website, but this has 16 local ins, 8 outs plus 8 aux ins/outs. Can be expanded to 32in/16 outs with a behringer stage box (S16 or SD16) and you can record multitracks to a DAW via the 32 channel interface. Priced to sell at £750, which is a good saving on new with the flight case which was £200 on its own. Collection from Chelmsford, or will drive a reasonable distance for a meet up. Payment via cash or BACS. Please DM me if you have any questions.

Congrats! Here's to hours of enjoyment 🎉

Nope. I think the Boss SY synth sounds are much less "classic synth" in comparison to the MXR, C4 and FI. But there are enough decent options for me to use on a few tracks with my covers band which is all I am really needing. And the "faux-tracking" is super tight. This is a pretty cool demo, albeit on guitar

Well, not just basses. Used to have a couple of them, but they ended up getting lost, left at gigs or whatever. I went to get another one not all that long ago, and they're impossible to find now.

Looks the sort of thing Joe Dart would have on stage.

Are you saying that an arrogant, patronising and dismissive attitude toward customers is just down to being busy rather than having the right people in the roles? Reading the responses to negative reviews on line and with my own experiences, it seems that being busy is regularly given as a reason for having a less than acceptable customer-facing attitude. It's like, "Sorry I'm rude but we are very very busy and you're in the way". I was a very good (high spend) customer at BD when MS was running it solo, but as soon as it expanded to take on that first employee, I had a few consecutive bad experiences with one employee in person and on the phone that have coloured my judgement and now I only buy from BD those things that aren't available easily elsewhere. LHZ preamps being an example, of which I've had 5 this year and Spector bridges x 3. As far as basses, amps, cabs etc. I choose to deliberately avoid BD because of those demeaning and belittling experiences that I've had. I consider that constructive and fair customer feedback.

Intonation set up on Cort B5 Element

Given the physics / mechanics of a fretted stringed instrument - intonation is always a thing that may need to be evened out - ie splitting the difference - depending on sensitivity. fret placement / crowning is a thing but so is string tension / gauge (go lighter but raising action counteracts benefit) and and action. -

Can it get the sounds the MXR can. Moog, etc?

Just got in from a rehearsal with my classic rock band, using my new Sandberg California TT SL. Went well though as it’s a jazz bass configuration I struggled a bit with the sound as am so used to a Precision type sound. However at the end the band said how good they thought the sound had been, with better separation on the instruments as my bass was lower/deeper. Was a dream to play though, and being 6lbs it was so easy on my back, don’t even feel like I’ve been at a band practice, was def a good purchase.

I had the same issue when I first started on bass. The Fender model felt huge and unwieldy, but the Washburn was much more nimble. The neck was wider, and I liked the 3+2 tuners on the headstock (3 above, two below). I chose the bass that I most enjoyed playing, and which felt right in my hands.
