mikeswals
[sup]Interesting dark purple Spector Euro with crown inlays, indicating it's a post 98 model. I had one of the earliest dark purple NS4CR that came into the store, and serial was a very low #14. The truss rod broke loose on it's own in the first six months of ownership. When I took it in for warranty consideration, they said they had to give me a complete replacement bass, and that dark purple was no longer an available color. So they gave me a redburst one, and the serial was then in the #12XX range. That was still during the dot inlay period. I never felt the same toward the color of the redburst bass and always wished dark purple had been available, but I never saw the color listed again in any catalog nor from the dealer. I wonder what the deal is that yours got to be one?[/sup] Edited July 22, 2013 by mikeswals
cetera
Picked mine up from eBay in the States and it is in fact a dot inlay model but with crown inlay stickers....
