This spacing is progressive increasing from the high to the low strings. The spacing is not traditionally measured from mid of each string to mid of each string. On my Bass Guitars the spacing is measured from outer edge to outer edge of each string. This is mathematically not correct, but You have a real better feeling and control while moving with the right hand from string to string. The standard spacings are: " Bridge: 72mm (2,84") The pickups are made out of RARE EARTH magnets. This exclusive powerful material has a very great open sound with a lot of dynamics. The tone development is exceptionally consistent over the whole frequency range. This results in a pure pristine sound. You just hear the tone of the instrument without any pickup interferences. The Pickup Cover is made out of ebony. The Bridge Pickup is inserted at an angle of 3°. The Neck Pickup is inserted at an angle of 7°. This results in a well balanced low-frequency-response of both -thin and thick- strings. 1. Master Volume (Push-Pull Potentiometer to switch between Active Mode and Passive Mode) 2. Pickup Balance 3. Owen Posted August 19, 2009 Author Share Posted August 19, 2009 Sorry, I took my eyes of the ball on this one. I am in North Wales. The spacing feels like a 17mm thing. It is not Lakland wide, but not tight either. I would give measurements, but each string to the next is different. Is it a gimick? I don't know. It is comfortable, but no more or less than a bog standard 17/18mm spacing. It turns out that the Turbo is not blown on the car after all, however the mechanic cannot actually find anything wrong with it. I will leave the sale open for now because I am actually happy with the basses I have and much as I am enjoying the Ritter, I do not NEED it (and liquid assests are always handy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The winning bidder then declined to buy when he found paypal charging him 2400 Euros instead of the 2250 Euros he had bid. I'm guessing bidders remorse. Needless to say it is going back up again but I thought a gentle nudge here would do no harm. I would give the non paying bidder grief but all his feedback is private and I'm guessing that there is absolutely nowt I can do about the situation. What a drag.
