I'm debating one for my son (hes looking for his own bass for an upcoming birthday)

Compared to the fender rumble 15 it seems quite feature packed.

Hopefully someone takes a punt on one and reports back

Rumbles are a lot easier to sell on when upgrade time comes.

Ive got a Rumble 25, had it for a few years, probably used it 5 times. It's a lovely combo but I just cant be bothered getting it out to play once every now and then. I think the Joyo is small enough to sit on the or under my desk for when I do fancy a blast.

Gotta say, I had a rumble 15 and I couldn't recommend it. I love the larger Rumbles but the 15's got nowt going for it , tonewise and obviously not enough power for anything but solo practice.

If it ever does. These things have a use, and I can’t see that use disappearing

it’s small, loud, you can feed it Bluetooth and it runs off a power bank. treble and bass speaker plus a carry handle

What’s not to like?

if you have an acoustic bass it’s the perfect topup to match one or two acoustic guitars for volume in a jam

Keep in mind the BassThe World videos are just adverts for whatever Thomann want to sell you, stil llike 'em (particularly when Lars Lehmann is on) but they aren't objective reviews.

This looks like it has a passive radiator on the back so should kick out way more focused low end that you'd expect if placed in front of a solid object, not so much if it's in the middle of the room. Can also run off a suitable power bank and has bluetooth which are very handy features for this sort of amp.

Anybody looking at this category of amp that doesn't mind spending another £150 should grab the PJB Double Four with battery pack that's in the Marketplace on here though. Crazy little things.

The Joyo Badass sounds incredible.  If they made a 500W version I'd get one tomorrow.

Yep. In a heartbeat
