Normally 35 when watching with The Wife, but when she's in bed I set it to 31, sometimes 29 or 27 if it's a particularly loud mix. Mark Quote

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are multiples of five, Tuesdays and Thursdays are multiples of four, and the weekend is prime numbers. 1 Quote
itu Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I set the vol of the TV to 0, 3, 6, 9, 12... why on earth I decided to study acoustics? Quote

itu Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago It's a Sony, and definitely does not have 3 dB steps in vol. Do I have to turn on my B&K and measure the steps? No no... now you @Stub Mandrel have planted the seed... bugger. 2 Quote
Mottlefeeder Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I set the TV volume at zero, and use the HiFi volume to control the sound level. It does not have numbers. David Quote

David We have a sound bar that's the same. It was great. Until firestick. Now there is off/tooquiet/tooloud .... never been higher than that. It's bloody infuriating. Quote
