JosephMartyn Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Morning folks! I am certain this will have been asked somewhere already, (possibly by me 10 years ago haha!) so apologies in advance for the repetition! Who do folk currently recommend for sending guitars in the UK? With full insurance for damage and loss Quote
Beedster Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 It's been asked a few times and the answers will vary with luck, region, even individual driver (e.g., my Parcelforce guy is amazing, DPD generally good, the UPS driver/depot on the other hand......) Most people agree that Evri are to be avoided I believe 👍 2 Quote

Downunderwonder Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 Better still, agree to walk through the very sensible over sized sitting on the ground hoops of Overland on behalf of the buyer and get them to do all the arranging and paying so it is their insurance policy. Quote
Pea Turgh Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Overland Express are my usual choice, but they’re quoting a bit much for sending a bass to Greece. Parcel Monkey have given me a quote at half the price, but won’t be fully insured. From memory, there was a recommendation here about a separate insurer, but I can’t find it now. Does this ring any bells for anyone else? @AndyTravis - I have a feeling the knowledge came from your fountain! Quote
AndyTravis Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 I’ve used overland before. Think they insure separately Quote

I've used Securus, www.securus.com, a few times to cover instruments sent via Parcelforce. I can't comment on how good they are if you have a claim as the deliveries were spot on. Teyeplayer Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Have heard good things about Lenspeed. Isn’t cheap but you don’t have the parcel force broken neck. Quote
Mikey D Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Anyone got a good courier recommendation from Republic of Ireland to mainland UK? Quote
