Every time I try to get a quote, all I get is the dimensions are too large. What am I doing wrong and how do you folks do it?

Use a smaller box (put the bass in diagonally..?)..?
What dimensions are you giving, and to whom..?

I'm using parcel2go, give the dimensions and get a quote, but, the site says too large.
127cm x 42cm x 16cm.

  • 4 months later...

I have just received an additional charge from Parcel2Go for a parcel I sent last month. They are claiming that I owe an extra £9.50 because it was larger that I stated on my original form. Now I'm 99% certain I didn't muck this up because I measured at least three times to be sure but I can't access the original form to see if I'm correct.

Should I pay this or ignore it?

Had the same thing recently. Took photos with the measure stating that it's impossible (they claimed my parcel was over 150cm long and it was like 127cm) and that it must be a mistake.
Few hours later I got a reply that it was indeed a mistake and they took the charge off my account.

Who are you using ? Are you sure you are using the correct units ? I've used DPD and ups without issues recently
[/quote]
That's what I use. They seem to be really good with large and heavy parcels.
