Clearly, they are not for pros, but certainly good enough to get you out of a hole, and let's face it, it's usually the bass player who does the boring stuff like think about what might go wrong, and having the kit to fix it. They may well be genuine and sourced properly but I'd want to have a good look at where they're made. [/quote] Completely agree, and I would only use them for work which was suitable for a standard screwdriver, and not rely at all on the insulation. When you open them up lots of the parts are identical. Not necessarily ideal for pro use but far better quality than the usual Black & Decker, Worx etc that you find in big box diy stores.
