Gorgeous new little Amp from Ashdown - CTM-15

I think that was why I plumped for the CTM15 to begin with - the overdriven sound was absolutely stunning. Sadly it didn't really have enough bottom end once we put a guitarist and drummer over the top! And I probably can't get away with playing a full-on Lemmy-esque OD tone for our whole set.

(I've only got a 1x15 for the time being, but this might give me an incentive to invest in another cab!)

But why the little meter thing, is it functional?

It shows the output. And I quote from the Ashdown site:

"The CTM-15's analog VU meter isn't a vintage-style triviality, it gives you an accurate display of your power amp's output. Tube amps always have their own sweet spot where they sound their best, and the CTM-15's VU meter helps you find it every time."

Yes the LB30 has a DI on the back. It is taken from its own tap off the output transformer, so you get the full glory of the those output tubes. I've used it a couple of times and it works just fine if you need to add a little of your sound into the PA.

I'm assuming the CTM30 is the same - Captain Ashdown will be able to confirm that.

Cheers

Is it possible to get a DI out fitted aftermarket?
