1. my latest pedal board all the custom paint work n hydro dipping done by me
2. when someone buys this bass, and they should coz you wont find a better P ( I have one ) , I have a spare undamaged red tort pickgard from mine that I dont need
3. there are lots of very usable shortscales out there, I have two mustangs, the fender jazz shortscale and a hand made landing L1. They all play very well, sound great and range in price from under £300 to over £1000. Id say give one a go.
4. Had a go on one in Miami last week, its an improvement but I wouldn't call it elegant. prefer the standard Babicz bridge.
5. Thats a nice looking jazz you have there Will, just so happens im in a red fase at the mo lol. I still have that landing by the way. For any of you who havent delt with Will I can personaly vouch for his good bass taste.
6. My experience is that the hole pitch is differs between the Squier's and the Fender's, but it is easy to fill the existing holes and re-drill. The Babicaz and Hipshot are standard five screw fender pitch
7. here is my take on it with Mulard tropical fish caps fitted to my PJ
8. try a pog into a metal muff into a tube amp as your guitar channel with your bass into your bass amp. Try the new Pitchfork from EXH as an alternative to the pog. tryed one the other day and there very cool.
9. Same strings on mine, love playing this bass
10. I have one too, I wouldn't let mine go. I keep looking at others, mainly USAs and Road worn's but nothing so far has come close to the neck and feel of my PB62PF
11. My latest P Squier PJ body MIM Jazz neck Black hard wear and dual concentric controls
12. Id go for one if they come in candy apple red
13. I couldn't find a schematic for the amp and decided no to pull it apart to do my own. it is possible to use just one valve for the pree and the phase inverter though. the other possibility is that it is single ended output with the two EL84 valves in parallel as they say the output stage is one half of an LB30 output stage. The LB30 being two pair of parallel EL84valves connected in push pull.
14. thanks hamfist its not so hard to be neat with all new parts and the pro soldering station at work. its a different story with a cheap soldering iron sat on the kitchen sink and used parts
